    My favorite example of self-titling goes to Chicago, where pretty much every album they have released for more than 40 years had Chicago in the title, usually followed by a sequential number-- except for the album they released in 1978 that should have been Chicago XII but was inexplicably titled Hot Streets.  (Maybe it's because it was their stab at disco and they wanted deniability.)

    Yeah another self-title lover to the extreme is Peter Gabriel. His first four solo albums are titled simply titled "Peter Gabriel" and fans have had to give them nicknames based on the album covers: Car, Scratch, Melt, and Security. His record label basically forced him to give his fifth album a title, and he went with "So" just to troll them.

    I love the album cover. It's simplistically unique. My wife has an avocado charm on her bracelet, and it reminds me of PJ's album every time I see it. I think the band was really proud of this album, because otherwise they wouldn't have named it Pearl Jam.

    For what it's worth, I think their three coolest album covers are No Code, Yield, and Binaural. Of course, Ten is really cool too!

    Their best album cover is Vs. It perfectly encapsulates the feeling of the album.
