No way Brady goes to the Patriots.  If he goes anywhere, it will be Miami with the offensive weapons there.  Brady wouldnt go where its cold, and also will make sure he has optimal weapons, and will probably demand a say in who coaches are.

The only way I can see Brady returning to the Patriots is if Kraft turfs Belichick and they have a new Brady-friendly regime, and they get some weapons at WR... and Kraft gives Brady puppy dog eyes.

But ultimately, I dont think he wants to play in a cold climate at 46+ (if he wants to play at all).

You don't think his ego gets in the way and if the season is bad, would want to go out on top?  Chase another title?  Have a better record?

Normally yes...but he's already taking Wednesday's off and his marriage is reportedly falling apart because of his decision to un-retire. In his late 40's, I just don't see it happening.

I hear you.  Whatever a normal person would do I always put Brady in the "other" category as far as actions...

He's realized this season that you just age differently the further into your 40's you go. 44 to 45 is a lot tougher than just 43 to 44. Pretty sure he's done.

After what happened in 2019 (and since), I can't envision any scenario where Brady plays under Belichick again.

Its tough to figure out Brady at this point.  Dont know whatever issues his marriage had outside football, but he tossed everything aside for this season.
He looks like hell.  Playing-wise, he is serviceable, but him and Tampa Bay are underachieving, which is a first for Brady, really.

So he tossed his family aside.  Soon, they will be out of the picture so to speak and brady will be a single-man with less family obligation.  Will he double-down on football again?  What if he can walk into Miami and get his ownership stake, and play with Hill/Waddle?

Miami would be foolish to take Brady at this point.  very close to the end and you have a young QB.  I will not 100% count Brady out but starting with the off-season back and forth his whole situation this year has just been off.  Didn't have the same off season, family issues, rough start; if this is not the end then he has more lives than cats.  I will say when I saw his press conference from last week I thought he looked terrible. His face was thinner than I remember it being before.  When things get close to the end it's really hard to reverse that.

I know nothing about the Bears and I'm just a fan of unloading old talent to reload.... But Roquan is not old talent right? Weird stuff.

Then again I think most LBs are overvalued.

She'd slap the shit out of you.
  • The stats say that a rc QB that makes it to the SB doesn't ever return.  After watching last nights game I would agree.  The Browns D was really good and the Bengals stunk.
