    listening since '92
  • 1991, but wasn't really a fan at the time. My college roommate played them nonstop. I was really only into hip hop at the time. Sometime in early 1992 I finally converted.

But, had to wait until 1998 to see my first live show.

2002ish when I heard I Am Mine on the radio, and a friend let me borrow a ton of PJ cds, and then he took me to the Albany show in 03 for my birthday, ever since its been an addiction.

I do remember seeing the Do the Evolution video premiering on TRL and seeing the Jeremy video on VH1 many of times and it scaring the hell out of me.
    32 shows and counting...

Since I first picked up Vs. in 1993. My PJ insanity has only increased every year after :)

Christmas 1992. My dad went to a local (Italy) record store and since I was moving my first steps in rock/metal he asked to one of the clerks for a rock cd and he got Ten!
I followed them until Vitalogy, then black-out for a few years, until 2004. After that the metamorphosis to die hard fan took place!!

Which one? Green River broke up in 1987. Temple of the Dog wouldn't even be conceptualized for three more years.

November 92, first time I heard Black on the radio. I had previously thought that alive, even flow, and jeremy were good rock songs, but there were a lot of good rock songs. Black showed depth and opened my eyes to the passion that was not only in that song, but also in the others. And I was only 12.

Eddie: I don't know whose idea it was but it was turned down.

Since 92 when my then boyfriend now husband let me borrow Ten. Been obsessed ever since. First show....CU Field House Boulder CO Nov. 1993.

My kids have been listening since conception and all of them would be calmed by Ed's voice as babies. My kids are BIG fans and my 4-year-old can name songs by the first few notes!

mee too. same song. but in Ft. lauderdale instead of tampa. Right around the same time Smells Like teen Spirit was on MTV buzz clips. I was a freshman in College and throughout high school i was always a fan of classic rock and hard rock bands like Guns n Roses, but I hated the lame hair bands like warrant and White Lion and with Nirvana and PJ hittign the scene, i rememeber thinknig "OMG, the return of good music!" That was the best time of my life. Great music, beign on my own in college for the first time! experimanting with all kinds of "stuff". Man, i wish i could relive those years.

Think it was about 1992 when I first saw this wild group with long hair, flannel shirts, work shorts and boots and they played Blacke. I was totally mesmerized then as still am now. I was so excited music was back after the mostly shit 1980's stuff.

Listened to the band, probably my favorite, since 92.

Became OBSESSED in 2004 when I saw them for the first time live.
