    This game was basically decided by three plays. It's all good. Sure I want them to win every fucking game, but all I wanted was them to steal one game down there. It's going to be a fucking zoo on Friday.

    Two plays.  Their first baseman made a play on a drawn in infield with one out…and our first baseman playing back couldn’t even keep ball in the infield.  At least Hoskins has been hitting…oh wait

    That Rhys error was enormously deflating. I think all the city teams are going into a tailspin now. We're all gonna wake up in a dumpster Monday morning. Dammit.

    I have a strict beer only rule for before/during events if I want to fully enjoy.  I can get into the vodka or tequila after but if I have too long to party beforehand I've seen that this can lead to a percentage of shows where I have the same experience you describe. 
    Hopefully the boot brings back some memories.

    Yeah just suds for me. I don't want to miss the experience. I really needed to be "present" for Inside Job.

    It was just beer. But it was good high alc% beer starting from noonish. Combine that with the fact that I haven't been drinking much lately and...yeah just a bad effort by your Juggler. lol

    Drinking since noon, yeah, that'll do it.

    I learned the hard way a while ago that especially PJ shows I can get ahead of myself, so now I ratio 1:1 water:beer and only beer. And then in the show it's two beers and a giant ovepriced water, then maybe one more beer run during Sirens or Unthought Known. And then wash it down with a few joints for the beginning, middle, and end of the show. Also, we're fucking old - so all about the maintenance.

    Ha.  Funny how that all sounds familiar.
    I did drink a lot of beer that evening but not enough to make anything fuzzy.  Plus, I jumped around throughout almost every song so I'm pretty sure I felt stone sober by the end
