Congrats to Seattle for making the playoffs for the first time in like 21 years. Now longest playoff drought is the Phillis. Hopefully they end that this season as well. :worried:

    Baumgarner and scherzer?
Wobbie asked the question. It's clearly not Scherzer as he wasn't a Giant.

I would guess it's a reliever, but no clue who it is.
  • trout has 39Hrs...  If he can just stay healthy... He would have had 50 hr this year.

Oh Mr Judge?  The world is waiting on you.  Please hit 62.  Thanks.

Would be kind of funny if he ended at 61 after all the hype.

I need him to get 62.  I have a card show the 15th and I would love to sell some more of his cards.

  • Lets go Jays! I'm loving a potential Jays-Mariners series :) Ken Griffey jr was my favorite player growing up, so I always had a soft spot for the Mariners. Very cool to see them end the drought.

Whoever signs him is going to regret it.

He's not done but I wouldn't do a Pujols or Arod deal.

He's 30 now. He'd be 40 in the final year of the deal not exactly "well into his 40's". With the DH now in both leagues, he can be viable at 40. Obviously the last years on any long contract are a gamble, but don't be surprised when the Mets give judge a 10 year deal.

I thought he was 32?  Whoops.  He is falling apart at 30.  Think Pujols and Arod.  No more roids.  DH or not, I don't see him being good past 36.  I think Paul Goldschmidt is the only position player over 35 that is excelling.  There are some pitchers but hitters?  None.

Steve Cohen might want Judge but I don't think he leaves for the money.  I think he takes what the Yanks give him.
