Herschel is giving us a perfect look into the future. The guys who make abortion illegal will always get abortions for the women in their lives who want them. If they could not, there’s no way it would become illegal in any state, much less federally.

My initial thought when DeSantis called the storm surge "biblical" was that they should take the hint and god is trying to purge the world from Desantis and his followers.

I remember the religious right (Falwell) saying 9/11 was gods punishment for accepting gay lifestyles

Problem with that is a hurricane hit Florida after they passed the don’t say gay bill into law. They aren’t being rewarded

I have a client that just retired (he's like 58) to Cape Coral. His house didn't get destroyed but lots of water damage and the neighborhood is obviously trashed. I can't imagine having my little retirement paradise upended like that. He just moved there in May and now everything around him is pretty much destroyed.
