    This guy is absolutely a product of being coddled his whole life, you can just hear it in his tone and way of thinking. I mean understand 20 year olds are kids still to some extent. But you're 26, man. Yeesh.

    Credit to JJ for getting Ben for an interview, but if you haven't watched then take it all with a gigantic grain of salt. I'm all for humanizing people and the situation, but this guy is straight up bullshitting.

    Report: USA Basketball interested in Embiid

    USA Basketball is interested in recruiting Joel Embiid and hopes to beat out France for his international services, sources told NBA insider Marc Stein.

    The Philadelphia 76ers star is eligible to play for the United States after recently obtaining American citizenship.

    Embiid also became a French citizen in July, and national team head coach Vincent Collet remains hopeful the reigning NBA scoring champ will suit up for Les Bleus at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

    "I know he met some of our players to discuss," Collet said. "I think he should play with us. But we will see. We will respect his decision whatever it is."

    Embiid has yet to compete on the international stage. The Cameroon-born star was named to the nation's preliminary roster for the 2017 FIBA AfroBasket tournament but did not join.

    The U.S. and France rank first and fifth, respectively, in the latest FIBA world rankings. The two countries squared off in the gold-medal game at the Tokyo Games with the Americans coming out on top 87-82.

    Should go back to the Barkley era one's full time!

    I missed out on a Phils/Sixers parlay because they somehow took away one of Harden's assists after the game. Damn it.

    Yeah the Sixers should have just kept those Spectrum unis as alternates going forward. The ones for this year are no good. 

    This team is going to score a shit ton of points this year. But sure are going to give up a lot of points, especially if Doc is going to Doc and not adjust as needed (ala rotating the more switchable C's into the game when needed).

    Gonna be a fun season. It's October. Just stay healthy and stay that way.

    I think they should actually be better defensively this year with the new additions. Also think we'll be better offensively with a healthier Harden and continued Maxey improvement.

    But, yeah.....Doc's gonna Doc. lol

    Rough way to start off the season with the Celtics and then the Bucks tonight. Would love to see Harden put up similar numbers to the other night.
