I’m taking the ferry over later today. The website says it will run every 30 minutes starting at 4pm. I’m going to do a little pre game in fishtown then hop on the ferry around 6:30-7pm. Anyone know if parking will be an issue by the ferry pickup?0
-
Curious about this as well. Anyone meeting up beforehand?psutrain said:is there a ten club meetup in old city prior to the show?0 -
I'd get to the ferry a good bit earlier. It can get very backed up and it's unreliable.LastExitPhilly said:I’m taking the ferry over later today. Curious myself. Currently our plan is to hit Sto's Bar on Market (opens at noon), hope to be there at 2 for some food and beers, then head to Glory Kitchen on Chestnut around 3 (that's when it opens) for a beer or 2 and then to the Ferry. Some places in and around Old City don't open until 4 and we hope to be on the ferry around then.Ericsteinmetz said:

I cannot answer your question, however you can pre-book a spot on Spot Hero around the ferry to be safe.LastExitPhilly said:I’m taking the ferry over later today. You'll be fine finding parking. How close? Can't answer that tho. There is a lot right there in the Seaport museum/Liberty Point bar building but cannot say if it'll be full.LastExitPhilly said:I’m taking the ferry over later today. Ferry is totally fine, especially getting there. On the way back it's just a matter of 1) your own anxiety levels of being stranded (which you won't) 2) if you want to leave the show a bit early to get on that first boat 3) are willing to wait around for the next couple. Personally I've never had a problem getting on that first boat. They pack it till it's a sardine can.0 -
I bought premiere parking, ticket says lot1. I’m just curious if you know , is it easier getting in and out ? Or is it just closer to the venue?Jearlpam0925 said:

I’m thinking for any Ferry takers, Yards Brewery is a decent pre game spot. Parking lot too. Two minute drive to ferry0

Good call. Guy above said Sto’s and Glory, which are even closer than Yards. All good optionsLastExitPhilly said:I’m thinking for any Ferry takers, Yards Brewery is a decent pre game spot. Parking lot too. Two minute drive to ferry0 -
Pretty sure that's the lot closest to the venue. I don't think it helps with getting in and out any easier, just the closest to the venue.nicknyr15 said:

Gotcha thank you! I’m spoiled with msg and all the street parking. I hate parking lots and the miserable experience of getting in and out.Jearlpam0925 said:

I hear you. That's why this show should be in Philly. When a city is basically only there for only one reason it makes for a shit show.nicknyr15 said:

Where is this Fishtown pregaming happening?0

There’s plenty of lots around the venue, livenation and private. The livenation lots are between $30-$40. Most of the lots fairly close to the venue. Honestly sometimes it’s better to park at one of the lots a litttle further away. Much easier to get out at the end of the night. Also, Camden is a really bad area. But with every show there is a strong police presence.Sirens4 said:sorry if this has been addressed. first time coming to Camden , staying in MT Laurel , I didn't get premiere, parking, are the other lots free? or private lots you pay for ? are they close or a walk? thank you very much"If you're like me, then you know me"

i have a feeling this show will be similar to Newark 2010. MSG gets all the hype (as it should) but Newark had such a strange/awesome/unique setlist. I think Camden theyll do a bunch of rarities since all the pressure is off since the 9/11 is complete. Hope everyone enjoys, wish I could be there.Beacon '08
