I have a single lower in 117 if you’d like to swap it for the GA.Riverrunner said:Conundrum. I have two GA tickets. Husband is going with me but does not want to be in GA. I will be in GA. The logical thing to do is for him to switch his GA with someone who has a decent seat. However, with the current Ticketmaster system it doesn't seem easy. For one thing, I'm not sure when I will go in. If I am having fun at a pre-party I might not even get in the GA line until the doors open. On the other hand I may get in line a couple of hours before doors open. BUT..... I guess hubby and the other person will have to go in with me which will suck for hubby. Not only that one of the tickets will not be GA so he/she might have to go in another door. After pondering the options it seems that hubby will have to go in with me and then we will have to meet someone inside to do the trade. Any ideas on how to do this with the least amount of inconvenience? I have considered just convincing husband to go to GA and just sit/stand in the back. He is 6' 4 1/2" tall BTW. I have not done the FTF with TicketMaster. That seems risky when trying to do a trade. I see that there are Level 300 seats available now but I don't think my husband will be happy with that. I will consider all options but am not committing to anything at the moment. Your thoughts?

It ended up being a 4 hour ordeal for us. We got in line at 10:30. Didn't get to the actual merch counter until around 2:15. They had already sold out of buttons, blue hats, & license plates. Luckily I was able to get a poster, shirt, and a couple stickers.Noload said:
I happily passed. If it's like that at future shows, I will be passing again. Just too much time to invest (for me) when traveling to a show. Too much else to do but more power that those that endured it. I concur it was the longest I've seen in my 40'ish shows.JojoRice said:I hope the Nashville merch situation isn't a shit show like MSG was on sunday. Wow! I got in the end of the line at about 1:30 PM just to see how it was moving...not fast enough for me so quickly bailed. Glad you were at least able to get the poster!JojoRice said:

Ya the line was moving very slow despite them having 10 registers going at the merch stand.Noload said:

For those that have attended more shows than I have, which is the preferable section:
2nd row of section 210 (aisle seats) OR
9th row of 104210 closer to stage but obviously higher0 -

Puckett's Grocery is good breakfast place although it has been a while since we have been there. My husband and I live halfway between Nashville and St. Louis in a rural area. Metropolis, IL is about 150 miles from Nashville and St. Louis. So we consider Nashville and St. Louis our home shows. That being said we get to each city regularly although not as often since Covid and since traffic in Nashville got so crazy as well as the high priced lodging. I remember back in the old days when you get a room in Nashville for $5.00. Ha! I'm not that old but close.

The Gulch has lots of great places to eat. Only been to Biscuit Love once and it was good. Big Bad Breakfast is really good, but farther out from downtown on Charlotte Ave.Gern Blansten said:

If you want to be the tourist, then Loveless Cafe on Hwy 100 in Bellevue. Expect an hour wait on the weekends. not so bad on weekdays and they serve breakfast all day. Puckett's is good too.
The Diner on 3rd Ave and Demonbreun is open from 7:30am to 2am on Friday's and Saturdays. They have 6 floors and a brunch on the 6th floor on the weekends. Really good food. They used to have different food selections on each floor, but I think it's all similar now, with the exception of the 6th floor which is their oyster bar. They have hot chicken sushi too (it's Princes hot chicken wrapped up in a sushi roll and it's pretty damn good.)
I've heard Sun Diner downtown is pretty good, basic diner food. But if you're wanting good old southern breakfast (or lunch if you're not a breakfast person), I'd go to Monells. it's in Germantown and is family style (you sit at a table for like 20 people with strangers). There will be a long wait, but really good food and if you leave there hungry, well, something is wrong with you because it's all you can eat lol
edit. For Monells, you don't get a menu, they just bring out food. Bacon, sausage, pancakes, cheese grits, hashbrowns, etc. They also usually serve fried chicken with breakfast and lunch. it's like $18 per person. That would be my recommendationPost edited by ponytd on0 -
Varallo's on 4th.
When I worked downtown I used to get breakfast there a couple times a week.0
