The preparties are fun but what really hurt this time around was all the short staff workers from the restaurants. For Hamilton the guy who does the sound stage there cleared our table. I would say only 3 folks were working the bar & tables. They were short staffed. And in Toronto we had to eat outside the Rec Room & wait to get seated where there were dozens and dozens of empty tables but we couldn't get a table because they were so short staffed. Knowing a Pearl Jam & Elton John show was happening close by that day .. majority of their staff called in sick.

But the short staff games wasn't just happening at the restaurants. Every hotel we stayed at were short staffed. Two of them stopped doing room service. It was getting bad.
