We've gone from not wanting to vote for Hilary because she used a private email server to everyone in the Trump admin illegally deleting all of their official text messages.....
And yet veterans & all those flag waving supporters would gladly vote for him a 3rd time!
The Blue Lives Matter crowd still supports him, despite what happened on 1/6, which tells you it was never about blue lives in the first place.
It was always code for “no, black lives DON’T matter”.

Looks very supportive of the police, the flag just makes sure we all know  for sure of their supportive nature

they are all just male Karen’s.  They only support the police when they can use them against other people

    You aren’t wrong.

I hate to admit it, but i get the opposite impression.  I thought, Dick Cheney wasn’t so bad or even W. Bush.  Those guys through the lens of history now seem downright reasonable

    that’s kind of scary

The other problem with that is  as a liberal, I am in the same place I was 20 years ago politically.  The right has moved, not me.

now I’m the radical? Or the left in general are the radicals?

to them I guess I am. However the distance politically wasn’t caused by a massive leftward shift in society.

Not only are we radical we are idiots. And it's the mouthbreathing magats that label us as that.

I have to bite my tongue a lot on facebook. I kind of stopped arguing with magats a few years ago on there but people that you think are your "friends" will post all kinds of shit about how stupid democrats are, how stupid Biden voters are, how you can't find anyone who admits to voting for Biden, etc.

I used to think that I needed to challenge them to try and educate them or get them to evolve their thinking a bit. Maybe I am an idiot because it has the opposite effect. It always results in them posting a link to infowars or something similar to prove their point.

Yeah, I agree.  The right keeps veering further into far right.  If we carry that a step further and next get someone who makes the same gap as from Bush to Trump, then Trump to... what?  Some kind of ultra-dictator like Pukin?
Let's hope the pendulum has reached its furthest arc and starts moving back.  Otherwise, Shit Creek will start looking like a good place to be.

CPAC straw poll.  To me the most disturbing part is Don Jr. got 8 percent of the if Donald doesn’t run vote.  These people are even more nuts than I thought

Among the attendees who voted, 69% said they preferred Trump, with 24% saying they would prefer Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis.
When asked about who they would prefer if Trump did not run for president, 65% of respondents said they preferred DeSantis, while 8% said they would support Donald Trump Jr.

Bear in mind, these are people who still support a man who said people would continue to support 45 even if he went out into the street and randomly shot someone.  It's some kind of illness many of us just cannot comprehend.

And some said that it couldn’t happen here and that to make the comparison was offensive.

Trump wanted ‘totally loyal’ generals like Hitler’s, new book says

This is a great article that is really in depth about Milley and the other generals.

If Trump wins in 2024, he's going to vet everyone on loyalty to him.

They have released a plan somewhere already.

it’s just that and a lot of gutting career government positions and installing loyalists at all levels of government.  Nothing like what he did the first time, this is on a huge scale
