    Anyway, Piastri confirmed for Alpine 2023.

    Peter Windsor speculated that Riccardo is out at McLaren and Oscar is in. Saying no to Alpine likely means he has a deal elsewhere.

    I thought Riccardo was on the outs also. Maybe Gasley ends up at Alpine?

    Yep, Webber (Piastri's agent) has been pushing for a McLaren drive for a while.

    Otmar is saying they'd have no issue taking Ricciardo back so maybe he ends up there.  Who knows, this year's silly season is sillier than most already.

    I think Gasly only makes a move to a top team, but anything is possible during silly season.

    Agreed, I don't see him going anywhere.  Piastri must have some kind of deal with McLaren to come out and say he isn't driving with Alpine.  I would expect Ricciardo to go back to Alpine in that event but I guess Gasly could try for it as well.

    I saw that report as well, or at least the report saying McL told Ricciardo he's out end of this season.
    I think the Alpine seat will be either Ricciardo or Gasly, but I don't really see AT taking Ricciardo back.

    Alonso is set take Vettel's seat.  Stroll wants his son mentored by world champions.  Otmar Szafnauer has said he would have no issue with bringing Daniel back. I do not see Gasly making a move from Alpha unless there are big dollars and a multi-year contract being offered. Who knows. That is why it is called silly season.
