And they gave up absolutely nothing and sounds like he’s getting vaxxed. I don’t think they get Soto, but this doesn’t mean they don’t. Castillo is more important for this year
What a slap in the Royals face(if he gets Vaxxed NOW).
And he is. Definitely a bit of a slap in a face

    some postgame notes on Judge:

nine multi-HR games are the most by a Yankee in a single season in franchise history, surpassing Gleyber Torres (eight in 2019), Alex
Rodriguez (eight in 2007), Mickey Mantle (eight in 1961) and Babe Ruth (eight in 1927)...

nine multi-HR games are the most by any Major
League player through their team's first 101 games of a season in Major League history (previous: eight by Albert Pujols in 2009, Luis
Gonzalez in 2001 and Reggie Jackson in 1969).

His 25 career multi-HR games are the sixth-most by a Yankee in franchise history, trailing only Babe Ruth (68), Mickey Mantle (46), Lou Gehrig (43),
Joe DiMaggio (35) and Alex Rodriguez (29).

His 25 career multi-HR games are the second-most in Major League history through 670 career games, trailing only Ralph Kiner (26).

Is just the second Yankee (third time) and the seventh Major League player (eighth time) to hit at least 41 home runs through his club's
first 101 games of a season...joins Mark McGwire (43HR in 1998 with STL), Barry Bonds (42HR in 2001 with SFG), Luis Gonzalez (41HR in 2001 with ARI), Reggie Jackson (41HR in 1969 with OAK), Jimmie Foxx (41HR in 1932 with PHA) and Babe Ruth (41HR in 1928 and 41HR in 1921 with
    NYY).

According to ESPN Stats & Information, he was the first Major League player to reach 40HR before August since Barry Bonds and Luis Gonzalez both did so in 2001...he is just the third Yankee in franchise history to do so, joining Babe Ruth (1928) and Roger Maris (1961).

    • Has 5HR in his last 5G, 8HR in his last 8G and 11HR in his last 13G.

    • Has recorded both of the Yankees’ seasons of at least 40HR in the last 10 years (also 52HR in 2017)...marks the fifth 40HR season by a Yankees
    player since 2006 (also Judge’s 52HR in 2017; Curtis Granderson’s 43HR in 2012 and 41HR in 2011; Alex Rodriguez’s 54HR in 2007).

    • Has homered in back-to-back games for the sixth time this season (also 3G from 4/28-5/1 and 2G from 7/24-26, 7/21(G2)-22, 6/3-4 and 5/12-13).

    • Has multiple hits in five of his last seven games and seven of his last 11 games.

    • His grand slam in the eighth inning was his second of the year and the fourth of his career (also 7/6/22 at Pittsburgh, 4/30/21 vs. Detroit and
    5/28/17 vs. Oakland).

    • Has three multi-HR games in his last 11 games.
    • In his last 11 games (since 7/16), is batting .476/.560/1.238 (20-for-42) with 15R, 2 doubles, 10HR, 23RBI, 6BB, 2HP and 2SB.

Benintendi, this reliever that people seem to generally like and has tons of control and assuming this Montas chatter is the Yanks...is that enough?

I'd like another move beyond that, but assume that might be it.

And oh shit...they didn't lose Peraza in this deal.

This all seems like good work by Cashman

    NOW GO GET SOTO

Feel like Soto going to the Padres (or Cards) is best case scenario for the Yankees, assuming they were never going to get him.
