Thank You Pearl Jam for playing Light Years For Donna in London

Back in February we lost a good woman. I was not fortunate enough to meet Donna Goggins in person. But like many of us were connected through this amazing band. There are better people who can speak about her and what kind of person she was. Through the years we have lost "Jamily" members. Some I've met in real life and some through here. But this lost hit me the hardest. I couldn't explain. I won't be in London. But I'm sure Donna will in some way.

    Always thought "We were but stones / Your light made us stars" was Top-Tier lyric writing and maybe their best. The song, as a whole, really. Add me to the ranks of those who are pulling for you with this!

    Donna was the best of us.  I never had the honor of meeting her in person, but we spoke often and I still consider us to be close friends - I think she'd tell you the same.  

    The loss of such a bright light was something that I did not handle well, especially considering the completely unexpected nature of her passing.  It shook our little community who knew her and cherished her.  We may have all met through our shared musical interest, but she was an absolutely incredible & luminous being.. her infectious light truly, truly made us stars. 

    I sincerely hope that her family (her two sisters will be there) and our many friends across the pond get to experience her shining presence once more through "Light Years" being played at the London show, to bring her back to us once more, and bring them peace.  <3

    We went to donnas funeral and so many people came it was mind blowing the church and grounds  all full. Sun shining. Light years  playing as she came in. It will stay with me forever.  Donna always had time to talk to me and calm me a little before a show . 
     She was One of lifes lights .
     Please make this happen lots of us london based fans loved Donna  dearly

    Same. This one hit me the hardest. We haven't chatted for awhile on Facebook. Just the occasional likes and comments. But her posts would always pop up on my page or Instagram.
