    I went with Banquet Records. After comparing the OG and new US reissue. I look forward to comparing the EU cut.

    Just opened and attempted to play my US Clear pressing - badly warped and Disc 1 won't even fit on the turntable as the hole is way way too small. Will be returning this and buying an EU pressing to pick up when I am back there. Such a shame this one has been so disappointing

    Very similar experience.  both records are dish shaped, Disc 1 being the worse of the two.  Ordered an EU press from reflex in the uk

    Picked mine up today at my local record store. They still had a few left. They also had one 12” alive. Got that too.

    I haven't heard so much complaining and  about a $40 record...EVER.  I have bought hundreds of records over the years through various sources and 9/10 they arrive in the condition that I expect them to be in.  I have never bitched about the splotches, the color, the label, the size of the hole.  Why?  Because it's never been an issue.  Sure I've had the odd album show up warped, but I just send it back and get a new one.  No crying involved.  Also, this whole gold vs black vs silver vs clear.  Dumb.  Buy it and move on.  Leave the rest for the people that initially missed out.  Stop buying the market out in hopes of getting that ONE special version that gets you off.  Hearing "This band owes is better quality reissues".  The fuck.  They owe US nothing.  Just be thankful that your "favorite" band releases these and move on.  There's more important things to worry about in life than which country's pressing you have.

    Problem is most of the time RSD releases are no returns, and normally they are sold out anyway

    quality becomes more of an issue when you buy it and you are stuck with it 

    Most records come warped these days so that is something I think more people should be able to fix themselves as it’s not hard and it happens all the time but then again it’s a tough value proposition to expect people to spend money on something that doesn’t work correctly to begin with.

    My reason for sharing, and assume the same for others is not to complain (I certainly don’t expect 10C to do anything about it and why should they??), but to share my experience with everyone here. Many of us here bought this record and some may still be thinking about doing so since so many were pressed - but I wouldn’t recommend it given the chance of getting something poor seems pretty high. If I spend $40 ($32 in my case) on a record I kind of want to be able to play it and feel comfortable that if I can’t because of an issue that a replacement will have a good chance of being better. And if someone in charge of pressing these is listening maybe next time they’ll think harder about where they go to order them.  

    Funny thing is my biggest issue is with the huge amount of waste - how many of these 20600 (times 2!) records are going to be returned and then binned due to the issues we are all experiencing? Crazy.

    And I have bought hundreds of records, often on the basis of what people say are good (or otherwise) pressings.

    After I found out a gold version was available the collector part of me had to choose that over gold.  Lol
