And yet it was still a fantastic show.
It’s a “what could have been” show for me. Wish i never saw the planned setlist. 44 songs!!
Is there a picture of this anywhere? I don’t think I’ve ever seen this! Would love to see what they were.

They sold shirts with the planned setlist on the back. Had them for sale outside Wrigley after the show and then here in the shop.

Wow. I remember my friend woke up at 1 am texting me “are they still playing?” She lived 3 blocks from Wrigley. I wrote back “fuck yeah they are!”

It's such a unique show too. Even if it's not the best show ever or even the best Wrigley show, it's still one I desperately want for my collection. It's the only acoustic set section I've ever had. It was the first time I ever saw them play 14 songs. I loved the show.

I would love the boot. Great, memorable show. Only heartache through the whole thing was scratching Sleight of Hand, one of my white wales

Love that song live. I've seen it twice, first time was Tampa in 2000.

    It definitely hurts to see...

For me, getting 38 songs in Denver the next year helped ease the sting, but that night at Wrigley had all the necessary ingredients for one of their best shows ever.

For sure. And in that regard, it could be seen as a missed opportunity. But for me, seeing my favorite band in my favorite ballpark of my favorite sports team could absolutely never be a disappointment. And it resulted in such a unique experience and show that I really want to have that bootleg.

The rain delay was tough to endure at the time but now it’s part of the legend of that show.  As previously stated… being on the field at Wrigley at 2am listening to my favorite band was magical.

Always good to get Release as an opener. Though two of the shows where I've seen Release as the opener have not ever been released on bootleg.
