Refunds for Cancelled Shows

Hi everyone,

a few weeks ago I sold my sacramento tickets via Fan 2 Fan, and the payment isn’t supposed to go through until after the show…. But the show was cancelled. I’m just wondering if anyone knows how the refunds will all play out since I’m out the money and so is the gentlemen who bought them from me.

Thanks!

They mentioned a 30 day timeframe for refunds, so guessing you'll receive the original purchase refund and the F2F will receive their refund in the next few weeks. In the same boat with Vegas, but not expecting it to move quickly.

Thanks! I appreciate it! I figured it would take time to sort it all out on the back end

I received refunds already on my F2F purchases for Vegas but don't think I've received refunds yet for my original 10c tickets which I sold

I got an email from Ticketmaster saying that they have refunded my order, but it doesn't say which order.  The refund hasn't hit my account yet.  I ordered Vegas through the Ten Club and Sacramento through regular Ticketmaster (or it might have been F2F).
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

Yea, have the same status. Received a refund for the tickets I purchased on F2F as an upgrade, but not for my original 10c tickets which I sold on F2F. No email just on CC.

I think that's normal as the f2f system is just TM's reselling system with a fixed price.   You get the refund because you bought them from TM/TicketsToday, then you refund them to the person you sold them to kind of thing.  It's designed for the regular reselling where the prices can be different, and makes more sense when you realize they didn't create a brand new system for f2f.

Yup, was just posting for others who might be waiting for a Vegas refund.  No issue.

I got my F2F payment for Sacramento sales on the same day as I got my refund for the Sacramento and Vegas shows.  I think I still have 1 more Vegas F2F that I haven't received payment for.

    Huh?

Unless someone somehow was already paid for tickets they sold on F2F, don't think this is a thing.

TM / TicketsToday was paid twice (and should be holding 2 payments) for each set of tickets re-sold on F2F. TM /TicketsToday received $ from the original purchaser, as well as from the F2F purchaser. They never distributed the $ from the F2F purchaser to the original purchaser. Therefore both the original and F2F purchaser should be refunded by TM / TicketsToday.

Sorry not to nitpick, just don't want anyone trying to send F2F payments out to others unnecessarily. Though come to think of it, no clue how anyone could even do that.

Good point.  I was looking for a debit from one of my accounts/CCs to reimburse the F2F buyer, but since I never got paid for that sale, I won't get debited.

Exactly correct. The onus is not on the F2F seller to reimburse the buyer. TM needs to refund both parties as TM hold funds from each until a show actually takes place.

Anyone else get refunded $10 less than they paid? I’m assuming it’s the cost of the  commemorative ticket, so are they still sending those out so we can remember that one time we didn’t get to see Pearl Jam?
