London 2018 I was in line to get my GA wristband when I heard they were cancelling night 2. I have some practice…

since I have never been too excited for a show until I walk through the doors! This sucks, I’m sad, but I’ll still wander around Vegas and try and break even.

Completely devastated. Got tix to Silk Sonic at Park MGM. Certainly not pit at PJ, but a consolation nonetheless

Found out after going through airport security in Boston. Never been to vegas, so still going, but there is zero chance I’d have dropped all this money for four days in Vegas if it weren’t built around a PJ show. This sucks.

I recall being in Greenville, SC 2016 for that show and was napping at my Airbnb when the band canceled the Raleigh show.

My Airbnb host was understanding and only charged me $60 for two extra days before heading to Columbia for that show.  Ironically enough, I found a pair of tickets for my Airbnb host to attend that show in his hometown.  Disappointed about the Vegas cancellation, but I got most of my plane ticket money back and got my hotel reservation canceled.  See everyone in St. Louis and Oklahoma City.

Big props to MGM for letting me cancel too. I was staying at Bellagio. Sounds like they are letting a lot of folks cancel.

    I'm leaving Vegas tomorrow.

Was hoping we'd meet up in Vegas. Maybe East Coast shows in September.

I know it sucks but try to make the best of it.

    Oh, its a dry heat-LOL

What a headache with Amex Travel: hotel booking via Expedia but actually through a 3rd party. Just got off the phone to see whether refund possible after reading others were successful. Agent mentioned the hotel manager was asking for the event name to verify so I suspect it will be possible to credit back.

Had GA for Prague 2020 and now GA for Vegas. No guarantee I’ll get GA in the future.

Went thru the Ticketmaster boycott of the 90s.

Gone to concerts that people that worked for Chase bank or GM had better seats then my fan club seats because they were a corporate sponsor. Always thought why the heck do you need a corporate sponsor when PJ nation Will buyout all tixs.

Lost lots of $$$ chasing shows, maybe give all the people that had shows cancelled in 2022, I don’t know, a free year in the fan club….just saying.

As soon as I found out the show was canceled Wednesday afternoon, I canceled my flight (Spirit Airlines from Louisville to Vegas) & ended up getting a little less than half back as future credits after they factored in the cancellation fees. Just before midnight on Thursday, I got a text from Spirit saying the entire flight was canceled (7 hours before scheduled departure). I'm going to call them a little later and see if I can talk them into giving me the full credit since they ended up canceling it anyway.

At this point, it's almost a relief the concert isn't happening. There's not a lot of other last minute flight options that would have logistically worked out for us if we still had to find a different way to Vegas, at least not ones that would have been reasonably priced.

Everyone should be sure to include that your cancellation is DUE TO COVID. It can make a difference in some cases.

I’m sure that this has been said, but this is a long thread. Flying in solo Thursday night and am curious about a good spot for breakfast or early lunch. Nothing fancy, I tend to be happy with hole in the wall places that are great.

Want to fuel up on a meal and then get over to the Merch line.

    Any suggestions?
The Peppermill bar is a great vegas style place for breakfast. Also recommend Tacos El Gordo (a San Diego staple). Both are on the other end of the strip though. Can't go wrong with In N Out burger.

Closer to MGM.....pizza by the slice at Aria and Cosmo (Secret pizza) are good. Crack Shack (Park MGM) and Shake Shack (NYNY)
Crack Shack was some fine chicken. Thanks for the advice!
