The Lightning I and II have really grown on me....great songs.  Can't wait for the full album Friday.  Guessing a full tour announcement should be coming soon??  Can't believe I haven't seen them since 2014 on the Reflektor tour.

Got my first listen in this morning on my walk. Really enjoyed it and looking forward to having it on repeat throughout the day and digging in more when my vinyl copy shows up.

Streamed it once at work today. It may take a few listens to grow on me. It's not bad at all, but just didn't grab my attention.
    I LOVE MUSIC.

Not blown away by it or anything.  A little on the mellow side.  The Lightning II is the only real rocker on there.

Prices for their tour are pretty crazy.  Can't sit anywhere in the 100 level at the United Center for less than $150 plus fees.  And even the shitty seats way up are $80 plus fees.  Might have to sit this one out.

Their tour? No. Every arena show is ridiculous. I’ve sat out more concerts than ever just to take a stand. HOWEVER, I’ve never seen AF so this is one I will be attending.

New album is solid but I’ll pass on purchasing.
7 songs, 40 minutes. Not overly blown away by it.

The album’s a definite grower.    Wasn’t sold on it at first but, sure enough, the songs have burrowed their way into my psyche.   End of the Empire really cuts off the momentum of the first couple of tracks though.   Total dirge.

    Final track is beautiful

This record has the perfect blend of the adventurousness of Reflektor, the immediacy of Neon Bible, the warmness of the Suburbs and the grandioseness of Funeral all rolled up into one neat little package.  Its not better than any of those 4 records, but when you make those 4 records, something has to be 5th. I dig this a lot.
