Finally bought my plane tickets yesterday from DFW to Europe.  Spending a week in Italy before going to shows in Vienna and Prague.  Are merch lines and poster sales as crazy in Europe as they are in the states?
Don't know about posters, but I've never had any problems buying shirts in Europe. Saw Tool in Stockholm recently and they had sold out on a couple of sizes on one of the shirts when I arrived at the merch table...but that's the first time I've heard of it in 30 years of going to shows. Maybe later on in the evening but if you buy shirts when you arrive at the venue you should be okay.
Yeah, I would rather not spend hours in line waiting on merch when I could be exploring the city.  Vienna we have seats, Prague GA, but don't need to be near the front.  Just going to go and enjoy!
Do you have 10C for Prague? The floor is split with 10C at the front half so you would be pretty close anyway

They didn't allow anyone to bring their beer into GA in Prague in 2018.  I'm still bitter.
I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.

Is it actually split/a separate section for 10C or just early entry?  I don't see a separate section on any seating chart.

    Thanks.  That's what I thought.

There was the last time might have been first come first served not 10C but there was a rail across the middle of the floor

I showed up late with my 10c GA, and got in the walled off front part of GA.  Don't know if they will do that again this time though.
I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.

I had no idea Prague was two different paid sections in 2018.

Understand it varies. Here in the U.K. we are fairly similar to the US and merch crazy, though have heard it’s much quieter in some of the mainland European countries. Eg when I went to the EV shows in 2019 there were huge queues in London but not that large at all in Amsterdam
