Unfortunately this is the way of the world today. Everyone is just supposed to lower their expectations when a mistake is made instead of taking care of the issue.
Then they blame you for having a problem with the mistake and expecting a resolution. Too many participation trophies I guess!

Was it a $106 red lantern?
Regardless, people shouldn’t have to lower their own expectations to match other people’s low expectations.

Anyways… I’m glad there are safeguards in place with PayPal and credit cards, where you can get your money back and move on with your life.

I’m thinking she’s just stubborn and I doubt pj fans were threatening her. I’m guessing she didn’t like how many people asked for refunds and I’m sure some were a little strong in there asking but the way she’s posting things has me questioning. Just wild I feel bad for all that ordered one.

One of these days I'll track down an affordable Ed Batmobile from '08 :p was too busy getting to my seat!
I broke down and bought mine off Ninersfan on eBay back in the day.
Was the enigma of Ninersfan ever confronted?  Was he on expressobeans?  On FB?  Are they still around?
Seattlebatman was just as bad or worse, the two invented flipping lol. Pretty sure someone on here said he was the reason Brad stopped signing stuff at flatstock etc.

So that whole thing of him being a collector since the early years is a lie or....

    What am I missing?

I feel empathy for both the buyers and the artist on this one.  I had a friend that was an artist and went to school for that.  I remember my wife and I ran into him a few years after school and he gave us his newly printed business card - it was a beautiful design but had no contact into other than his name (largely pre internet). Our immediate thoughts were great design but how do people get a hold of you - his face went pale and he said He hadn’t thought of that. The point being that he was a great artist but not a great business person.  I both empathized with  him and had a little chuckle at the same time.  I hope both artist and buyers all get sorted out here.

What a brutal lesson she’s learning with this - such a giant missed career opportunity too. I just can’t fathom how she’d jammed 100 posters into those small tubes without stopping after the first couple and rethinking her strategy. I guess pressure can make you do stupid things. It’s a lovely piece of art tho, I’d probably have missed it if it hadn’t been for this mess so there is that at least…

It doesn't seem like she's learning anything. That's the problem. Instead of coming to the realization that she fucked up, and owning up to it, she's deflecting and making it seem like everyone else is at fault and she's the victim. If she had just posted something like, "Hey guys, I'm really sorry. I'm an artist and new to dealing with this aspect of things. I messed up. But I promise to make it right and learn from this going forward." I think everyone would have empathized with her and been cool with it. But instead, she just keeps digging herself a deeper hole.

Damn! Sorry for all involved. I was able to get my eBay purchase fully refunded, but looks like they have reposted it for the same cost, damaged.

Easy for me to say because it's not my money, but I would recommend treading lightly here. That Twitter feed indicates there is more going on with this person than just posters.

Maybe, either way doesn’t look good to be engaging her in the Tweeter-verse.
