Summer 2022 Boston/Fenway

Has anybody heard if there are any plans to schedule any ballpark shows this Summer?  Fenway, Wrigley?

No word. I'm skeptical because of how late they would be in announcing and how busy their schedule already is, but there are some possible dates in August.

That is what I am hoping for.  I think it would be difficult for them to not hit Boston/Chicago/Seattle.

I assumed they wouldn’t have booked concerts because of the lockout as when it ended games would need to be reshuffled.  Boston changed some games around very recently and I’m sure to would be a pain to then deal with a concert scheduled.  It’s kind of late now.

Pretty sure the Sox rescheduled games around the summer concerts. They are still away on August 20th.

There was an 8/20 Fenway rumor a few weeks ago but nothing beyond that.  Someone thinks Fenway has a concert permit for that night.

Fenway definitely has some holes based on that list of permitted dates and what has been scheduled so far. Still expect Billy Joel to slot in somewhere and continue his annual streak.

I doubt Wrigley either since there's been rumors of the United Center possibly later in the fall.

    Interesting.

Maybe ballparks are a no go until 2023.

I heard 7/2 at Gillette for Dead & Co.

Any other Dead & Co. rumours?

I check this page pretty regularly looking for any signs it has been updated. Nothing yet.

Betting that if we don’t hear anything by mid-May for ballpark, then it’s safe to say no ballpark dates this year.

There’s still the Verified Fan sale to sell out the current dates & potentially have an Ohana announcement/ticket sale, and still gives us 3 months to buy/plan for a few ballpark dates to happen in August.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Dead and Co, pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

There were some rumored ballpark dates floating around that I think people were appropriately skeptical about anyway. I don't claim to know shit about shit except that Imagine Dragons are playing the date that people were wishcasting as Pearl Jam.
