Nice.  I remember drinking Sambuca shots when we were underage.  It falls in that same category of liquor.  Hilarious to think we were drinking that at 19 or 20 years old.

sambuca is gross, I hate the taste of licorice.  But like you I also did shots of it back in the day. I'm not really into after dinner drinks but we have company coming over today so I figured I'd buy a bottle of something.  Grand mariner and 43 are also nasty.
Joe that's the first time I've bought 46 so I'm not sure if they changed the bottle.
Here’s my bottle. My wife hand dipped it in KY this past summer.

Yep website says they changed it up.

I haven’t had 12 in years. I’m curious to see what I think after a long amount of time.

Damn I've never seen the big boy bottle of Eagle Rare.  Need to find one of those out in the wild...

Stopped by Bevmo yesterday and saw this bottle on display so I bought it...even got $20 off making it a whopping $16!

I liked it....I am not much of descriptor (that a word?) of taste so I will just say I liked it and drank too much yesterday :)

So I'll just lie down and wait for the dream

I have 3 bottles I'll never get to drinking because the damn things are so much money.  I'd love to raffle the damn things.  I'm doing store picks and things that can be off the shelf now.

Have an Angels Envy store pick and it is wonderful!!!

Damn I just went to order a bottle and its sold out

I hesitated initially because I already have a single barrel Peerless Rye that is unopened and it's pretty pricey.  But now I regret not jumping at it right away.

I wonder if it came with that sticker. Would be pretty badass if it did. But that Peerless is pricey. Their bourbon finally dropped to $65 in my area, which I think is worth it. Probably won't try the rye at $100+...

FINALLY found a Larceny Barrel Proof. Been looking the past two years with no luck. I paid $100 at a local shop that gouges, but I just needed to finally have a bottle. This C921 is really great. Sweet and silky with none of the tannic notes I get on the small batch. Was worth the price, especially given how impossible it's been for me to find...

I have the C921 after missing out on all earlier batches, but I hear this one is the best. $100 isn’t too bad especially since you were looking for a while. I absolutely love this bottle and will check out future versions too. I definitely need a new Elijah Craig sometime soon. Haven’t bought a bottle since 2019. I heard A122 is really good.

Ah, now I'm wishing I had grabbed one too. Oh well. I've always enjoyed their whiskeytube channel, but I'll probably enjoy it even more knowing they paid tribute to PJ...

I agree, the Larceny C921 is pretty great. Not sure why it's so much harder to find than ECBP. Might be a regional thing. I managed to score all three 2021 batches of ECBP and thought they were all very good. Some people criticized the lower proofs, but I think they were all still damn good. Will happily buy all future batches of either...

Latest Flaviar shipments just arrived. The whiskeys are for me. The tequila is for my wife. Looking forward to trying the Amador. I have become a fan of whiskeys finished in other barrels. I really like the Glenlivet Caribbean that is finished in rum barrels. Never tried any liquor finished in a wine barrel, so I thought what the hell I'll try it.

Did you get A122? I picked one up and I’m loving it. Would be interesting to know how it stacks up against 21.

Saw a bottle of Peerless rye for $107.

Is that high or good?  I thought about buying it but this place is notorious for selling high and at tater prices.
