I was told MSG is September.
Whatever. Such a long layoff and being relatively unimpressed with Gigaton, I am not fired up like i normally would be. (Two years in and I still stop after 4 songs.) Hopefully that changes.

Those first four songs are the only ones I'm into as well. Seven O'Clock is alright too, but I can live without it. But the first four songs are my favorite PJ songs since like Riot Act....though I do like stray songs on Avocado (strangely, again, just the first four), and one or two on BS and LB.F Me In The Brain said:I was told MSG is September.

Haha this is funny just turned on Gigaton as a bit of a refresher. Agree the first 4 songs are solid.
What stands out to me, certainly did today, is that I think this is my Pandemic Album. It reminds me of March-May 2020 than anything else. When this is playing I know where and what I was doing (which wasn't much!).
It's still surreal that I did see them in September but just didn't feel totally there yet, if that makes sense to anyone.0

It kinda does make sense, though I can't explain why. I was at Sea. Hear. Now.....and had a great time. But yeah, something seemed a bit off about it all. Maybe because it was the first major event I had been to in over a year and half? I dunno...Jearlpam0925 said:Haha this is funny just turned on Gigaton as a bit of a refresher. Those first four songs crush though. Like I put it up with their best stuff since Yield. DOTC and Quick Escape are amazing.0

Yeah I totally see it as my pandemic record too.

I third this. Oh yeah, I saw Pearl Jam in September - almost forgot. It's so weird.Jearlpam0925 said:Haha this is funny just turned on Gigaton as a bit of a refresher. Agree the first 4 songs are solid.

I like them all but rank as:
Who Ever Said, Superblood Wolfmoon, DOTC, Quick Escape....just like Pearl Jam rolled them out.
It seems most people here (10C) love this record, especially the boring, slow, ones.
I am happy for them, I'm just not there yet
Maybe after seeing live. The love he receives is the love that is saved0

Camden Yards supposedly in August, if they don’t give you guys that has Baltimore tickets to that would be a fuck job.Jearlpam0925 said:And what the fuck is going on with this tour? Dates are coming? Philly in the fall it sounds like. I want my goddamn Baltimore show back.
basically seems like west coast in may, a few ballparks in august then other rescheduled shows in September with some additions. Very surprised they haven’t done Citizens Bank. What have thought this summer for that0

Have I told you lately that I love you?Jearlpam0925 said:As much as I think banning the shift sucks in theory it completely fucks with the purity (yes you heard me goddammit the purity) of the game. Don't wanna hit into the shift ? Go the other way. Adapt, evolve. One of the things that's so awesome about baseball to me is that anybody can play it.
And I don't care what anyone says about Joe Maddon. Gimme 2 man outfields and 5 men infields. Gimme something different, shake it up.
