    Trump seems to be getting closer and closer to being in deep shit, but I can't help but wonder, if he is convicted of some of the heavy crimes he is being accused of, how is the far right going to react?  What is that going to look like?  A bit unnerving, isn't it?

    It will be Deep State, Witch Hunt, blah, blah. His supporters will never accept that he did anything wrong, even if he's convicted of a crime. 
    But yeah, it is worrisome. I remember leading up to the election, a group of pickup truck driving Trump supporters all stopped in the middle of the Tappan Zee Bridge, held up traffic and waived Trump flags. Again, that was before the election. 
    Magas preach law and order until it doesn't suit them. They're all bent outta shape over the cops breaking up the truckers in Ottawa.

    What concerns me is that if truck drivers can wreck havoc in a country (Canada) that is described as  "a "full democracy", with a tradition of liberalism, and an egalitarian, moderate political ideology"*, and where 80% or the people are vaccinated, imagine what could happen here in the U.S.?  It's unsettling to think about.

    I find a lot of people were numb to it.  The nonsense was so overwhelming (four or five things A DAY seven days a week)  that they could only remember the escalator ride and the LAST good goddamn thing he did.

    The WORST.  Ever.   

    He should have been arrested on January 6th 2021 at about 7:30 pm. 
    It would be hella appropriate if he were arrested, TODAY, President's Day.
