pearl jam leeds fest 25/8/06 only

edited September 2006 in Given To Fly (live)
i went to this show with my brother in law daniel and it is the first time i had ever seen them after following them since 1991. and it was the best thing i have ever done.the feeling was so good.i was very emotional and shed tears at the start of just about every song! i cant wait to see them in the uk again! i am interested to see what other people thought of this gig and if anyone knows when they might be back in the uk.cheers and respect to fellow fans!

Hi! I was there too. One minute I was a few rows back from the barrier, next I was waaaay far back coz the crowd was moving so much, they were going MENTAL but it was fantastic :) People actually cleared a space around me coz I was dancing so much, love it!

I was so so pleased that they played Lukin. And Black was fantastic, the ending makes me cry even when I listen back to it on my mp3 player (which looks a bit odd on the train).

I'm going to see them in paris, can't wait!!! Are you seeing them at all in Europe?

It was amazing, I was at the fron row and got very bad bruised ribs and hip but it was so worth it.

I agree. Reading got more attention because of the webcast and bbc coverage, but Leeds was just as good. Great setlist.

Leeds was absolutely amazing! I got in front of Mike, about 4 people back from the barrier & it was just so brilliant.
I went to the Paris show too - that was awesome & they played a longer set than Leeds. The crowd was a lot more rough tho & i had to move back straight away cos it was v scary! Once i moved back a bit i had the time of my life & they played Thumbing My Way - which made my day, year, life!!!
Here's hoping they do a proper UK tour in 2007!!

Me too. Fantastic show. Even better than Manchester 6 years earlier, and that one was tough to beat IMO.

Loved the It's OK Daughter tag.
