    maybe they could give some details on the difference between the normal and deluxe editions of Earthling cd's? I'm not buying cd's anymore, but if there's something cool about it (extra tracks, different liner notes than the LP, etc), I might.

    Upon further review (aka thought), the $50 is weak.

    With Earthling coming out...I suppose an autographed copy could be next month's contest.

    Any contest was going to seem a bit of a dud compared to winning a Benny. $50 is $50 though, just think of it as free postage.

    You're probably right. They know their causes can make bank. If they give away something like that for free, some flipper makes bank.

    Maybe they'll do a regular copy. That'd be cool.

    I wouldn’t agree except there is such a huge range of coolness factor in some months. If they did $50 gift card every month I’d think “that’s cool, they don’t need to do that.” But when one month is a Benny, and others are autographed items, I’d be dissapointed knowing I was 1 month away from a $2500 record if I won.

    Does anyone know when you are notified when you win something?  is it on the 10th? or before hand?

    It's beforehand. Once a newsletter said "congrats (my first name and last initial)" so I emailed 10C and they said the winner is notified prior to the newsletter going out.

    Yeah I saw a Christopher K won and I went and checked my spam and was upset that I did not win...

    It may all depend on when the 10c gets around to it - I won the Gigaton Merch (Apr 2020) and the email stating that I won arrived 90 minutes after the newsletter hit my inbox.
