I am having fun! I didn’t say you changed your tune. I’ve seen you say the same thing before and as long as you have been saying it, I take the position that it’s a politically correct way for you to say a band is awful. If you say there is no bad music only music you don’t care for, no fan of the band will get offended. It’s fine… nothing wrong with that. 
I look at it differently. I believe there is bad music and in fact, there is awful music that I cannot listen to. I also accept that many people enjoy what I deem bad or awful music. There are also bad and awful movies, tv shows, artwork, hockey jerseys, golf shirts, breath and chocolate. I use language to describe MY position. 

There really is no “deal” here. The entire thread is about expressing opinion. People can’t believe (for some unknown reason) that I think the Pretenders are awful. 

I am also a safety consultant who always tries to steer clear of using soft language when describing potential injuries so it is habit forming. For example, pinch points softens the potential severity of injury when it could be a crush-point or sever-point. Anyways, I digress. 

As for thinking the Pretenders are "awful"- that just illustrates that we all hear differently.  I can't understand how some people like Kanye West so much.  Different ears, different brains, that's all.  It's all...dare I say it?... good.

Looks like were talking potatos or potatoes.  No worries.  I just found it amusing to be referred to as being politically correct regarding music- which I assume you understand is not the case.  When you say "bad music", you mean music you can't stand to listen to.  I get that and there surely is music I don't like.  I just don't think of it as bad music.  So we're not so far off.  A bit maybe, but not a huge deal.
