They sounded great. The videos they play while they are jamming are hilarious. They are actually very similar to Rush in that regard as Rush always had crazy shit going on while they were playing. (i.e. rotisserie chicken ovens, washers and dryers, etc.)

I like seeing them live but I would say that all of their songs seem to have the same beat and tempo.  Playing the Rush album was a great break.  They played 9 songs, then did the 6 songs off the Rush album and then encored one song.

Xanadu was amazing.  My only complaint was that the drums weren't loud enough. Les was in a great mood. I don't remember him talking that much the last time he was in Indy. I actually remember him just leaving the stage when they were done and not acknowledging the audience at all which kind of pissed me off.

Great album for sure. Record and live.  But seeing them play it live at Massey Hall was on another level. Just incredible!

No doubt! Two of the greatest live albums of all time were recorded at Massey

    The sound.  The intimacy.

You can hear a pin drop in that place.

Nice. So primus didn't suck there. Interesting.

I’ve seen Primus in two concert hall venues here in Alberta (Northern and Southern Alberta Jubilees) and it was amazing. These venues aren’t Massey Hall, but they are intimate venues as generally musicals and plays are performed there.

I was a bit disappointed they weren’t returning to the Jube on the upcoming tour. Playing at a casino (Grey Eagle) which is not my preferred venue here in Cowtown… Primus may suck there.

I like Green Naugahyde or however  you spell Naugahyde.  😜
Were really good on that tour, I thought, as well.

Love that there is continued activity on Primus and FNM threads, here.  Two of my favorite bands

Hey we have something in common! Haha. Agree with everything you said here.
  • When I saw them play before the pandemic Les had said in the meet and greet that Primus would be on Hiatus for a while.  He then went on to perform in oysterhead and/or some other side projects.

I just picked up the 45RPM “Ghostly Green” RE of Green Naugahyde. Going to spin it this afternoon!

I love Primus and anything Les is involved in. The guy is so talented and prolific.
