It's been interesting how older artists are selling the rights to their music for giant sums of cash during the pandemic. I guess on the logic you may as well cash in while your alive, rather then die with holding the valuable asset.0

Some of it has to do with estate planning. If you’re a big Springsteen fan Barnes and Noble has a few signed copies of his new book. Signed by him and Obama. It’s not cheap but that’s a hell of a collectible.0
