Anybody feel like giving some good feedback for MedozK? I feel like we say thank you a lot, but there isn't ever any positive feedback, unless I've missed it. I will start by saying that I think he gave us some really good bands to choose from. It was a good mix of alternative, rock, southern rock, and funk. And I think that it was a nice touch that he listened to mickeyrat's tournament design.

I almost always thank MedozK for doing these polls.  If I have neglected this time, let me make it right...

Thank you, M, for more cool and fun polls.  Much appreciated!

In other words, please keep Bon Jovi in rotation, MedozK. Even if the poll is "Weakest Link of Motown Groups."

We get it. You made out to “I’ll Be There for You” maybe even went a little further to “Lay Your Hands on Me.” Nostalgia doesn’t mean that the band is anything approaching decent, though.

    Like I said …

Thanks a lot. I do these really to read what y'al think. The entertainment value of some of your conversations are great...lol

Hope we can continue to have fun with these polls. I am really interested to see what band comes out on top once we combine the top 2 from each of the polls.

I get it about wanting our favorite bands that are less widely appreciated to be in these polls.  I think the problem is, there are so many bands and this site only allows for so many options.
I would love to see, but would not expect to see, these bands/musicians included:
    The Replacements (!!!)/ Paul Westerberg
    Dinosaur Jr/J/Lou/Sebadoh
    The Dream Syndicate/ Steve Wynn
    Juliana Hatfield
    Lemonheads
    Japan/David Sylvian
    Minutemen
    Black Flag
    Mission of Burma
    Psychedelic Furs
Cream (did we do Cream maybe?)
    Jethro Tull ( " )

I was going to post the "Bed of Roses" video as a joke. I ended up watching it instead, and the song is about missing his wife even though he sleeps with a different woman every night. What the hell kind of love song is that? Anyway, fuck Bon Jovi and the steel horse he rode in on.

You know what else I like? Whenever Bon Jovi is one of the options, guys try to act repulsed, but you know when New Jersey hit they were calling radio stations to request "I'll Be There For You" everyday.
I have loads of Bon Jovi memories.
Runaway and In and Out of Love were the best from their first two and the third album blew them up, of course.
Not saying they were the best or even good....but I still listen to some Bon Jovi.

Thank you. I listen to some Bon Jovi too, obviously not "Bed of Roses", but yeah the older songs are hard to resist. And you mentioned the best ones.  :)

Bon Jovi opened up for KISS but was thrown off the tour when they started selling more merch than KISS did.

Never did that^^ but randomly saw them in seaside heights hanging out filming in and out of love video. Also when moved away from nj and dead or alive  (good song) came on the radio, it made me miss nj. They were more loved by the girls back then. Pop jersey rock.

bought my wife Bon Jovi tickets for her one birthday. Her friend went with her. I would've bought both tickets just so I didn't have to go. lol

I like some of CCR's hits; honestly in preparation for May Long Weekend a bunch of us would all practice playing a bunch of their songs to play acoustically around the fire at the cottage; it was fun. But I never listen to them on my own.

Creedence Clearwater Revival with 23 votes and The Doors with 12 votes have been eliminated in Round 4.

Guns N' Roses and Metallica will move on to the Championship Poll.
