Cool album and so glad they got away from the same album flow they’ve kinda used one the last 3 albums. Can’t pick a favorite yet as there’s quite a bit to unpack.

Feel it may be a little long overall and it does feel fairly Jim solo-ish quite a bit at times. Have to keep at it but I know there are a few bits that seem very close to some Uniform Distortion stuff.

Loving this album so far. Didn’t even realize it’s an hour long.

It's good....but I am not instantly in love with it as I've been for pretty much everything other than the Waterfall sequel/b side thing.

Sounds like an album that will have to grow on me...

I’m loving it. Wasn’t a fan of Waterfall2 besides about 3-4 songs. I’m digging this and I feel it will continue to grow on me.

I’m 5 listens in. Wasn’t expecting to be replaying it but I really enjoy it. It’s beautifully produced and sequenced nicely.

I really like this album from beginning to end. I'd say it doesn't even really have any pop/hits on it, but strong all the way through. I think my favorite song is I Never Could Get Enough, song is all over the place in its style. Big fan.

More shitty vinyl from these guys. Nonfill on 2 sides of my clear. Hopefully there are some good copies out there.

I have horrible nonfill on Side 1 of my clear. I think the rest was ok but need to listen again. Will probably look for a replacement based off of how bad this side sounds, but between your feedback and friends with clear, it doesn’t sound promising

Damn, bought the album/cd on Friday along with the latest strand of oaks album (support band and local record store). Unfortunately my computer is the only way to play cd’s now and I haven’t used the cd part in a long time. Put the cd in and iTunes read it and all but when I went to play/import it nothing happened. Just kept making these weird noises like it was trying to “read” it.

Listened to it through youtube. so didn't really get the full experience but overall I liked it a lot. Better than Waterfall II, IMO.

This album is just the MMJ stuff - I'm hooked and ain't ever gonna get off it.

Thanks to the poster who pointed out the Jim James track-by-track on SXM!

2 copies on clear vinyl both sound horrible, to be honest. Why have 50 colored variants if they all sound like shit. Just give me a quality vinyl and I could care less if its just black.

If anyone finds a good version, please let me know. Trying the Target vinyl next..

  • A few listens in. Definitely more of a grower. Better than Waterfall 1/2.

Favs are Love Love Love, In Color, Least Expected, Penny for your Thoughts, and I Could Never Get Enough.

Next tier is Never in the real World and Devils in the Details.
Honestly starting to love it all.

That gets my top spot so far. Feel in love when it debuted in Forest Hills stadium.
