Should be a good series. I'm (obviously) rooting for Houston, but I don't think it'll be an easy series and could see it easily going 6/7 games.

Braves offered a pre-sale for World Series tickets this morning.  I went online to possibly grab a couple for Game 5.  Ticket prices started at $535 each plus fees for upper level tickets.  Guess I'll be watching from the HD section in my living room.

Look on StubHub the day of the game. We did that for 2017 & 2019 and found much cheaper tickets.

Might try that.  However, its the Braves first World Series since 99'.  Demand through the roof right now.

Yup---it was the same in Houston in 17 & 19. We may have just lucked out for all I know, but we got in the building. Hope you're able to score tickets---we're not going to be able to make it to Houston, unfortunately.

Well now...  That wasn't what I was expecting from the first game.

    Quite a bit of errors...
  • Charlie Morton broke his leg and continued to pitch?  I didn't stay up late enough to hear/read that until now.  Holy crap!

I went into this, thinking I wanted the ‘stros to win but I knew I wasn’t really all in on them. after one game, I think the Braves are a bit more likeable. either way, I just hope for a good, long series.

I guess I have a bit of a soft spot for both teams, seeing as how they have both been dodger killers.

Cheating aside, ATL just has a much more likable team and story to me. I could see pulling for Baker but Snitker has an equally enthralling career trajectory.

Great win by ATL last night. Houston had their chances, but couldn't deliver with RISP. Hoping they can turn it around tonight.

Also, Morton is a beast. Bummed to see him go out like that.

    Yes, they will be.

I could see that---will be a good pitching matchup for sure. Game 4 looks like it'll be a bullpen game, so that's a toss-up. I'm excited (and nervous as hell) for tomorrow!

I don't have a favorite. Neutral on both teams. But i'll say Atlanta in 7.

I thought this was a joke, but it doesn’t look that way. People have too little to worry about if this is their cause.

Can we not let this be a thing and never mention it again?

Seriously.  Let it go.  No more talk of this.  No more distractions because that is all this is.

    Game 3 tonight!

    How is that a distraction?

It is stupid, but PETA wants lots of things that they are not going to get.

It's a distraction because people start talking about it rather than the game itself.
