YIELD is the best album ever, by any band, at any time.

No Code has always been my favorite. Also partial to Riot Act. Yield is pretty good too though. Lol. Ten not too shabby either.
I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.0

I know it’s MY favorite album of all time! Best produced PJ album IMO and some of my favorite songs ever (In Hiding, Wishlist, MFC, etc). Even love the b-sides! Long live Yield!!!

Like many other people I didn't know what to make of No Code when it first came out. I gave it a few listens then stopped listening to it for a while. Yield on the other hand, I loved it from the first second I heard given to fly. Played the shit out of the given to fly single cd, and love the album from the first playthrough.I went back and revisited No Code after that and fell in love with it too... but Yield's the album that turned me from fan to superfan That and the Missoula '98 show That and the Missoula '98 show 0 0

Five of the finest albums in existence making up those sets?! PJ reached a new level on that tour for sure.mcgruff10 said:That 98 tour is still my favorite.www.cluthelee.com0

Same...my first PJ album purchase was Vitalogy. I bought NC, listened a few times then kind of forgot about it. Yield made me a superfan.Zod said:ddeschler said:No Code has always been my favorite. I really did the same thing with Binaural/Riot Act too. Kind of forgot about them and then they became my favorites.Remember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)

I’d put No Code and S/T in front of it but it did have some great tunes..0

Pearl Jam will always be my favorite band of all time, but I'll have to say Radiohead's 'OK Computer' is my perfect album.0

I love Yield. Period. Top 5 most favorite PJ album…and def on my ‘deserted island’ top 10.
Those middle years/albums…pure perfection for my money 🥰…
The Yield tour was the first time I saw the band live (I’m sure that has a little something to do with it). I also turned 20 the year the album came out. Formative years. No Code and Yield (and in some ways Binaural) all feel connected. Interesting years for this band (96 - 00).Looking back at the band’s history just before this time - seems like we all owe “Uncle Neil” a debt of gratitude.Seems like all of PJ benefited from their work with him just before this stretch of records/touring (No Code, Yield, Binaural). It also seems like the PJ camp held Yield and accompanying tour as something special (at least at that point in their 8 years as a band).0

Yeah Yield was my wake up PJ album and first time seeing them on tour. Yield/Binaural/Riot Act (although Bin and RA took awhile to grow on me....years for RA) are the trifecta in my opinion.bigbiggzy said:I love Yield. Period. Top 5 most favorite PJ album…and def on my ‘deserted island’ top 10.

It's weird, I still always think of No Code/Yield as the middle hears records but at this stage the self-titled Avocado record is actually the middle years!bigbiggzy said:I love Yield. Period. Top 5 most favorite PJ album…and def on my ‘deserted island’ top 10.

Ha - I know. I still kinda (generically) lump everything post VS as the “middle”… But you’re right - at this point 30 + years in - S/T is currently more middle than what was out in the mid to late 90s.
