Welp, surely not gonna miss watching the 2021 yankees

    Orders of business…

    Fire off Boone to Mars
    Extend Judge

Give Theo a call to see if there’s any chance. Highly doubt it but I’d be good with a complete overhaul. would want the right person

Sports are soooo much fun, when they work.

They pretty much fucking suck rotten assholes when they almost work.

I'd give Cashman the benefit of the doubt and rework the statisticians and Metrix groups.

Welp, the Yankees PR machine is up and at it with the usual suspects like Heyman and Olney.

Sounds like Cashman and Boone aren't going anywhere

Unless Boone was making all the managerial decisions I would understand. But how much was it his fault? Next manager will be the same.

Also Boone’s contract is up,  so technically it won't be a firing if he's not back

That's no surprise, the days of firing people like it's a bodily function are long gone for the Yankees. They haven't fired a coach during the season since 1995.

It’s not the season and Boone was fine when the Yankees were good but this year was bad

Right the point being that managerial changes don't just occur on a whim with the Yankees anymore as they've had three since 1995 and they don't just change just for the heck of it. I'd personally like to see what Boone can do without any interference from the nerds.

But didn’t we see that this year. Higgy batted over Sanchez then the next at bat odor batted over that equally shitty kid from the Bronx

To expand on my thought. They were only a 40 something run differential, jays were 150+, I don’t get that. But this team should have been closer to .500 than what they were, granted they were shit. So Boone has that going for him. Their record was actually better than they should have been.

I just hate the lazy approach to the regular season. Just no flow of the game. The sanche/odor situation was just an example. It’s just terrible

I said it before but the more I think about it, the more I want them to move on from Cashman. Love the guy, but it’s time for new ideas

That's probably more the system than Boone that the record is what it was?

Would like to see what he could do in San Diego. I don't think they're heavy into analytics

No. He's no Mattingly. But as you can see the Giants went full analytics and made Kapler a good manager
