Once again an amazing night in a perfect setting at Doheny. New songs sounded really great live (just like SHN), especially Dance and 7 O’Clock for me, and debuts of Retrograde and Alright were so sweet.  Lots of overlap from SHN but what can I say, “It’s Alright”!  My first Let Me Sleep so along with I Got Id, Immortality and Red Mosquito (always a highlight), those were my fave moments.  Can’t wait to do it again next week!!

WMA was performed almost in its entirety.

Awesome! Great to see some more new Gigaton songs. Immortality I Got Shit and Let Me Sleep looks like a real treat. Looking forward to following the two shows next weekend! Hope everyone had a blast! Thanks to Dimi and the relayers!

When @ Ohana I personally can’t imagine life any better

    Vibe is amazing

Everyone in the band look rejuvenated and excited to strut their stuff. Brandi is a gem, loved the soundgarden. Prior

gonna stay in SoCal for the Encore

^ Feeling the same. Set list hit the Gigaton songs I hoped for (Retrograde/Alright in particular). Quick Escape roared far beyond expectations.

The collabs today were fantastic amongst artists, Ed’s mention of Brandi’s excitement over all the female artists echoes feelings I had earlier in the evening. Can’t ever tire from a McCready solo and they did a great job peppering in the staples of crowd participation songs to feel back together again.

Perfect way to close out the fest. Really hope we’ll see a bootleg for the Ohana performances. Can’t believe we’re less than a week away from ~6 more hours of Pearl Jam.

Not a fan of Retrograde but it worked well as an opener. MC at the end proving why he’s the absolute best drummer. And Josh adding some great backing vocals and percussion.

  • Can't wait to see a video of "Alright." Considering that Rivercross has been done, that's 3/4 of Gigaton that's been done live now, right? Only missing Who Ever Said, Comes Then Goes, and Buckle Up.

Show number 20 for me. Was supposed to that in St Louis last year, so this has been a long time coming. Personally I loved opening with Retrograde. It felts very appropriate to me to have that be the first PJ song I saw live after all that’s happened over the past year and a half. In that moment I reflected on my first listen to Gigaton at the beginning of Covid and just let the words do some healing. I enjoyed all the other new ones as well, Quick Escape rocked as advertised from the folks at SHN, and seeing the debut of Alright was cool. Anytime you get a white whale of sorts, it makes a show special, and I got that with I Got Id. Probably the one song I hadn’t seen I most wanted to see, and it was everything I hoped for. Let Me Sleep was a definite surprise, and I thought the version of Black was really good. Don’t mind it ending on Alive, honestly they probably should do that more often. Even though Ed totally messed it up and tried to skip the part of the song that goes “is something wrong she said…” But those things make each show unique! I was gonna say, wow, no covers, but I guess crazy Mary technically is. I liked Ed’s joke about how he can’t pass wine bottles around anymore, but maybe he could pass a purel bottle. I know it was short in time and songs, relative to other PJ shows, but it was right up near the top for me. Such a special night. Looking forward to next weekend!

I agree to a certain extent but these are 2 hour festival gigs so they can’t go too deep with the non gigaton songs. And every night? It’s been two shows.

They did. I think if they played it later in the set maybe they would expand that jam even further, but it had a good jam to it. Hoping for a boot so I can relive that. Josh was adding some nice additional percussion to it.

Yes they followed the studio version basically. They were using a delay or echo on Ed that was a bit different than the recording but sounded great

Such a great show. The Gigaton songs all sounded great. Brandi on Better Man was so damn good. I got Shit and Immortality were simply awesome. Back to the grind tomorrow, but so glad we came out here for a much needed vacation. My 8 year PJ drought is over and my ears are ringing. Beautiful.

Honestly I don't think the momentum dropped until evenflow and that was because I had to go to the bathroom.

Last call for alcohol was 930...must be 60 minutes before curfew
