I got to experiance it myself at the pittsburgh show and i thought it was awesome. I didnt get the drum solo but i still enjoyed it.

I just got done watching the reading webcast and i think i enjoyed evenflow the most out of any song.. Soon forget and sad were nice to watch as well.

But i hear people dubbing evenflow as thier "piss break" song.

For those that do that.. You are totally insane. That song fucking rocks and the reading webcast proves it. Mikes solo followed by matts drum solo really kicked ass.

Please play evenflow at the next show i attend. <3 Pearl jam.

I'll never get tired of Evenflow. I have gotten it at every show except Santa Barbara 2003.

This is one of my many favorite performances.

yeah, you'll get it. it's their most played song and of the 20 times i've seen them, the only time it wasn't played was at the tibetan freedom concert in 98, which was a short set.

oh yeah, and by the way, it rocks every fuckin' time. :)

That was one of the worst Mike efforts ever. That was no solo, it was him doing what we call "noodling". And don't get me started on the drum solo, yikes. That being said, I loved the show :)

Mike's Even Flow solo was, for me, the low point of the gig, but I think that was due to equipment troubles and not Mikey's fault at all. He started off his solo, with the playing on the one note routine, but the one note was out of tune, and when he went to do some bends, they were out of tune too. A twiddly but uninspired solo behind the head, and a bit of banging around the amps, couldn't cover up the gear problems. Mikey got much more into the swing of things, later on, with the Les Paul, though by that time, an earthy hum was coming from his amps.

Anyone else notice that Mikey seemed to be battling glitches? By the time it came to YL, Mikey was having to overplay a little bit, to stop that amp hum coming in, on the intro and outro.

But I loved the show, too, and, well, these little techie imperfections only add to my love of live music, played loud. :)

You know it's funny but before I attended a Pearl Jam show I was tiring of Evenflow. However once I heard it live my opinion quickly changed. It's such a great song to hear live and I love it now :D

I just seem to lose myself in the guitar solo when it's playing live. Just amazing

It is obviously the most expected song in any PJ set - and this the disappointment. I do enjoy the song, although it is faar fro mmy favourite. I do remember the first time I got to hear it --- blew my head off...and I must admit, I do not wish to deny it for those that attend a PJ show for the first time in the upcoming years.
