jeff's comment on that confused me. an anti-vaxxer could have read that as almost support, but maybe he meant he just didn't want the hassle? because he is very pro-vaccine in every other way.PJNB said:
2021 thread but how long does this go on for and how does this affect PJ's arena shows in 2022? Jeff's interview would have you believe they are not into doing a full tour with this set up.Weston1283 said:This is big
Live Nation will require not only fans, but bands and crew as well, to show proof of vaccination or negative covid test
This could cause some major roadblocks if certain bands aren’t fully vaccinated
This is for all AEG and LiveNation venues, not just in Cleveland (Cleveland news source below)
Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0 -
If this is a Live Nation call, I don’t see PJ fighting this by not playing to have a less safe experience at their shows.1998: Pitt

Probably until case numbers are a lot less than they are now. I’m fine as long as it’s either/or. Interesting that it kicks in two days after Encore - mind you I expect Ohana to follow SHNs lead on this anyway.PJNB said:

I just bought Death From Above tickets for their Winnipeg date March 21st. The Ottawa reshedule was rumoured to be March 21st as well. Hopefully not. I couldn't wait on DFA in such a small venue and risk a sellout and the PJ show not being on that date.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0

All these baby steps lead to 1 path…mass-gathering shutdowns again.0
-
not sure if you are paying attention but the current wave is showing signs of it plateauing already. No need for mass gathering shutdowns with a vaccine and a variant that will be reaching its peak now and or soon. This is here to stay so we will work around it, not close stuff. That just wont happen. It did last year before a vaccine. Now that it is available to all, no shutdowns on a large scale will happen.pbultimate said:All these baby steps lead to 1 path…mass-gathering shutdowns again.0 -

I see it the opposite way. This is how we remain having those things you just mentioned.pbultimate said:

with how quickly this thing mutates and creates something far more deadly and/or contagious, nothing is for certain.DEGBTI said:

I dunno, I would place bets things won’t shutdown again. At least in the US.Pittsburgh 2013
Cincinnati 2014
Greenville 2016
(Raleigh 2016)
Columbia 20160 -
Concerts being cancelled, yeah I can see that because it is based on the band. But I don't think any major American sports will go empty again. Canadian teams possibly, but with FL and TX governors having little concern for school kids, there is no way they'd shut down billion dollar sports teams from having fans.pbultimate said:

Garth doesn’t want to do vax only shows, I’m guessing. His crowd might kill him over that. This show, another show, a show here and a show there.0

Kanye West just announced Soldier Field next week. It's just strange to announce something while everyone else is cancelling.Post edited by biz999 on0
