Live Nation will require not only fans, but bands and crew as well, to show proof of vaccination or negative covid test

This could cause some major roadblocks if certain bands aren’t fully vaccinated

This is for all AEG and LiveNation venues, not just in Cleveland (Cleveland news source below)

2021 thread but how long does this go on for and how does this affect PJ's arena shows in 2022? Jeff's interview would have you believe they are not into doing a full tour with this set up.
jeff's comment on that confused me. an anti-vaxxer could have read that as almost support, but maybe he meant he just didn't want the hassle? because he is very pro-vaccine in every other way.

If this is a Live Nation call, I don’t see PJ fighting this by not playing to have a less safe experience at their shows.

Probably until case numbers are a lot less than they are now.  I’m fine as long as it’s either/or.  Interesting that it kicks in two days after Encore - mind you I expect Ohana to follow SHNs lead on this anyway.

I just bought Death From Above tickets for their Winnipeg date March 21st. The Ottawa reshedule was rumoured to be March 21st as well. Hopefully not. I couldn't wait on DFA in such a small venue and risk a sellout and the PJ show not being on that date.

not sure if you are paying attention but the current wave is showing signs of it plateauing already. No need for mass gathering shutdowns with a vaccine and a variant that will be reaching its peak now and or soon. This is here to stay so we will work around it, not close stuff. That just wont happen. It did last year before a vaccine. Now that it is available to all, no shutdowns on a large scale will happen.

I’m talking about concerts getting cancelled and sports going fan-less. We’ll see.

I see it the opposite way. This is how we remain having those things you just mentioned.

with how quickly this thing mutates and creates something far more deadly and/or contagious, nothing is for certain.

I dunno, I would place bets things won’t shutdown again. At least in the US.

Concerts being cancelled, yeah I can see that because it is based on the band. But I don't think any major American sports will go empty again. Canadian teams possibly, but with FL and TX governors having little concern for school kids, there is no way they'd shut down billion dollar sports teams from having fans.

I don’t understand people going to a Killers show
I know a Killers fan and he feels this way about PJ.

Garth doesn’t want to do vax only shows, I’m guessing. His crowd might kill him over that.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

Kanye West just announced Soldier Field next week. It's just strange to announce something while everyone else is cancelling.
