So since hotels are outrageously expensive I guess I'll be driving from LA each night. Anyone know the best place to park? I'd rather walk 30-45 minutes to my car than deal with the shuttle situation.

Great question, that line to get the return shuttle sucks.

I have never gone to Ohana but in LA too.  Looks like parking at the SC High School or the outlet mall...then maybe just bike in or ride share to Doheny...its 5 miles either choice.

    Questions?

Thank you for posting this. With the alert I was able to book a hotel less than 1 mile from the festival for under $200 a night before the official announcement. I got 2 weekend passes today and cant wait!

^ Same here on the hotel scramble. Didn’t have much faith in more shows but wouldn’t have tried if it weren’t for that post.

Encore weekend is torpedoing the exorbitant asking prices on the exchange. 3-day passes down to just over face. A week ago, you couldn't find one below 800.  Curious if Pearl Jam's decades long battle against scalpers influenced, maybe just a tiny bit, their decision to add the Encore Shows.

I appreciate them not using TM. That waiting room/queue is total BS.

    1. You have 2000+ people in front of you.
    2. Sold Out
    3. More than half the tickets are available for resale on the same damn site.

Curious?  (Not to derail the convo).

Anyone flying in from Toronto on Friday the 24th or around the same time as us and want to share ride? Does not matter if its an uber or have us pay for gas if you have a rental car whatever works? We land 1:20pm and very easy going people. Send me a pm if this works for you or if you know of another cost efficient way into Dana Point.

I just became physically ill when I saw that there are Sunday tickets weekend one up there for face value on the exchange. That is most certainly not what I paid a few months ago.

I’m not sure if I have an opinion on whether Glen solo or Glen and Frames is better, but the fact that they announced Glen solo is a good sign about the festival actually happening.

Besides PJ, The Frames were my most anticipated band!    Hopefully they can do a U.S. Tour next year.

So it’s come to that time when it’s pretty safe to say that the US won’t be opening it’s borders by the time this festival happens.

I was so looking forward to this festival so I’m absolutely gutted.

Has anyone in the UK or EU already contacted the organisers about the chance of refunds? Wondering if given the circumstances they will kindly offer refunds.

I think there will be a big update soon about allowing double vaxxed UK/Euro countries back into the US.

It looks like there will be a move toward requiring foreign visitors to be vaccinated. https://apnews.com/article/lifestyle-health-travel-coronavirus-pandemic-a312ebaf72844c5b75246fb10b0f2ba7?utm_source=Twitter&utm_medium=AP&utm_campaign=SocialFlow
All those who seek to destroy the liberties of a democratic nation ought to know that war is the surest and shortest means to accomplish it.

Gotta wonder if by the time the shows happen if they require all guests to show vaxx or test proof like they are doing in NJ.
