    The encore weekend last year, IIRC, was a replay of the best-of webcast Ed hosted on what would have been Ohana weekend. The pickle margarita show.

    The Encore Weekend last year was just a streaming event since there was nothing else to do. If they’re doing a 2nd weekend, it would have to be a completely different lineup (minus Ed and PJ). I really think it’ll be late night shows at nearby venues.

    Yes It was.  Would they be hyping up a virtual recap with multiple social media teases though?

    Doubtful, so I don't think last year's encore weekend has anything to do with whatever they are hyping now. But I could be wrong.

    i booked a hotel and spoke with someone at the hotel who seems to think there was an event happening.  no details and could be speculation from all the calls they are getting to book. lol

    Seems like opening an additional weekend with ~2 months notice seems a bit ambitious, yeah? Maybe it was always part of the plan for 2021 and they had the logistics in place if pandemic progress was made, but still...

    I'd guess there's a better chance that the current PJ (and/or EV) performance dates will be streamed like the Missoula/Philly shows over the past year and not an additional show.

    I think it would honestly be outdoors vs indoors and the venue being already to go. Plus Ohana does a lot for charity and the benefit there for more shows would be huge.

    Any show rumors are a welcome treat at this rate, hopefully more people get a chance to see them play this year.

    At first blush, I immediately dismissed the idea of additional shows, but the fact that the Ohana Fest social media continues to hype the idea of an "encore" seems to suggest something beyond a live stream. Trying to read between the lines, but it seems premature to start pushing an "encore" stream of a concert that isn't happening for another two months. Then again, the show is sold out, so I guess streaming an "encore" of the festival would create a separate revenue stream. But then again, given that the shows are sold out suggests that there is a demand for additional shows, so maybe a live "encore" is in the works.  Don't leave us hanging like this!!! :-)

    As someone who most likely won't be attending Ohana, I'm hoping this is another streaming event.  Would love to see the footage from this years Ohana festival streamed over the net :)
