didn't notice it when I was at the Gorge.....but listening to the bootleg now, and it's a mess! Fun, though.

The same goes for "God's Dice" from San Francisco 1. People were raving about it because it's a rarity, but it's actually a pretty lousy performance with lots of Jeff and Stone mess-ups.

    Practice, boys, practice.

Yup, that often happens on those rare ones, which is a shame. That's why I was really impressed with how well they played Dirty Frank. You could tell they practiced that one quite a bit.

Um he plays the same freaking set every night. That might have something to do with it.

God's Dice is not that bad, actually. Its played too fast, perhaps, but they've messed up songs a lot worse.

It still surprises me every time I listen to DOWN from the Gorge and Jeff just goes way off. I wonder what happened. Cause he had it going great up untill that point.

Hail Hail on BsAs II from 2005...classic...in the dvd you can see clearly how eddie looks at him like saying "hey dude..what happened?"....Imagine that I even noticed the mistake from the moshpit...so it was really big...anyway, they play diff setlists every day...you have to mess it up a little from time to time

Well, the same thing could have happened to him that happened to the rest of us at the Gorge..................Heat stroke! He was probably more focused on not throwing up from the 114F temperature!

i was just about to post a thread about jeff's best bass lines..

how about the studio version of 'not for you' .. fucking amazing

    and riot act does rock
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green
