I dig it! I'm REALLY excited to hear this. I've really let MM fall off my radar a lot in the past couple of years. No reason - they are one of my favorite bands - maybe top 5. I guess I just got distracted from them. I had an absolutel blast at their show two or three years ago; I really hope they come back touring on a new album! I don't like the Black Keys, so won't spend all that money just to see MM support them.
New music makes me so very happy!

I would love to see them again.  The last time we saw them it was at the end of the string of last minute concert cancellations.  Turns out Isaac had a double ear infection and while that did affect the concert a bit, what really was the issue was that the sound was turned up entirely too loud.  They came to Cleveland and opened for The Black Keys, but since I have no interest in seeing The Black Keys, I opted not to go.  Just like the Pixies, I would love both bands to tour without opening for someone, please.

Couldn't have been more excited to hear this news. The song is fantastic. I also really appreciate that the album is comprised of twelve new tracks, and doesn't include the three singles that were released in the last 18 months. Also, interesting that the two new band pictures released with this announcement just include Isaac Brock and Jeremiah Green. I wonder if there has been some turnover in the band again.

Now we just need a fall tour with a ton of dates in and around the northeast.

It definitely came out today (least on cd/streaming) Maybe on vinyl it comes out then?

Thoroughly enjoying the album three listens in. Surprisingly upbeat lyrical content on many of the songs from Brock. I am having trouble picking a favorite, which is a good sign. Right now, I would say We Are Between, Walking Running and Never Fuck A Spider On the Fly are up there. Great to have this band back.

There have been a number of interesting interviews with Brock in the last few days. Two that stand out are the one with The Ringer and another he did with NME.

I have tickets for two dates on the upcoming tour, can't wait.

    Get this album.

I thought that might be the case. I admit I was a bit confused. Weird vinyl comes out so much later, but...🤷‍♀️

I've listened to the first 5 songs and I think it's fantastic.  The chorus in Acid Trip reminds me of TMBG.  I think this album will go the distance.  Can't wait for the vinyl.

Killer MM show last night in Portland, ME.   Favorite songs “Sugar Boats” and “Tiny Cities Made of Ashes.”  The A/C wasn’t working so things heated up quickly.  Lots of moshing down in the pit!  The Cribs were a great opening band (first time catching them).  Isaac’s comments to the crowd on boycotting lobsters didn’t fly over too well though!  😆 I highly recommend catching them on this tour, if you can!

Have a great time!  I love how they play a different setlist every show.  Lots of tracks off their new album but they pulled in many other albums, too.

Show was fantastic last night.  I’ve seen this band 3 times previously, but last night was by far the most energetic and most enjoyable. They’ve had some great diversity to the set lists this tour as well.  If anyone is one the fence go for it.

The pre-set and Q & A was also really neat.  Isaac was very personable and in good spirits.

Very sad news. Modest Mouse is one of my very favorite bands and I have been fortunate to see them many times. Jeremiah's drumming style always stood out and added so much to their distinctive sound. Just listen to Trucker's Atlas.

I saw them on the Lonesome Crowded West tour two weeks ago and was concerned that Jeremiah wasn't on the kit. Their drum tech, Damon Cox, was on drums that night. It was one of the finest concert experiences that I have had, but Green's absence was notable.

I am going to miss him a great deal.

That’s sad to hear. Saw them a few times in the late 90s and with Johnny Marr in 2005? Always loved their stuff!
