Awesome! Bats are so cool! We've had a few in the shed at times.
Love that frog. Out cat Annie was desperately trying to get to something behind a bookshelf the other night. I just figured it was another crane fly (which she sometimes eats!). Turns out it was a little frog. Thankfully I caught it and took it outside before she could mangle it. This (and the fact the we have the occasional fox, coyote and racoon around here) is exactly why she is an indoor cat. Other wise she would be a serial killer (birds, rabbits, lizards, frogs, etc) or victim to the fox, coyote or racoon. She has a real kill or be killed nature... except with humans, and then she is sweet as can be!

had another bat in my apartment. Came home late last night and two things were knocked over on a really high shelf. Then i heard flapping above my head and saw the bat. i think she's used to it now . The first couple times my cats were excited and Kali chased one once. The last few times she hasn't really done anything.

i think she's used to it now . The first couple times my cats were excited and Kali chased one once. The last few times she hasn't really done anything.
I am glad they didn’t catch it. I would be a little nervous about disease if they came in contact with it. My cats are up to date with rabies shots. But as we know bats are notorious carriers of disease. Your landlord needs to take care of this.

Bats are so cool and nice that you got photos!
A few nights ago, I went to open up our enclosed breezeway for the night to cool it off and before I could get the screen door closed a bat flew in. I gave it time to find its way back out before closing up. It was fun to watch it do it's herky jerky flight for a minute or two.

Mom turtle comes to our yard every year. I was able to watch it for a while and make sure it crossed the street safely.
I love turtles. My parents used to have one that would come to their yard to sun itself on the top end of their driveway. Now I mostly see lizards and deer when I visit them.

have seen this gal(?) flying around the backyard(s) the past couple days. first days being chased by what sounded like some crows. At least they were sounding the alarm. Yesterday I think she took flight from our tree. Today has her sitting here....
now I have to change my rat control procedure. Dont want him getting sick from a poisoned rat.....
