Bon Jovi, Slippery When WetLet's just let Bon Jovi slip on out of here. Not sure how it stuck around this long!

Pink Floyd, The Wall
It was quite popular and there is some casual listening fun to hearing their stuff when you're in the car. I liked their songs, but loathed their popularity, especially among the girls in school. Every girl thought Jon was sooooo hot. And then my wife shared her old CD with our boys and they love it so of course I hear it more than ever. While annoying, it clearly has strong appeal across generations.brianlux said:Let's just let Bon Jovi slip on out of here. Not sure how it stuck around this long! It's a hopeless situation...0 -

Far and away the #1 album as far as how much I have listened....not my choice for #1 but I've heard that album countless times.HesCalledDyer said:Unpopular opinion: Slippery When Wet is the best album up there.

Of all these, Bruce is the one I've listened to the most, and continue to do so. My Hometown is a song that makes me tear to this day. The lyrics are so powerful. This version with Ed is great.F Me In The Brain said:

Born in the U.S.A. is a great record and, of course, widely and largely misunderstood.

Bon Jovi, Slippery When WetPink Floyd's The Wall just doesn't resonate with me as an 80's album. IMHO Born in the USA or Thriller is the definition of the 80's.I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0

Bon Jovi, Slippery When Wet
Absolutely. It's not rah rah go America. It's a mostly sad, but also uplifting tale of America. Even Dancing in the Dark has very melancholy lyrics.brianlux said:mrussel1 said:

The record has 12 songs and SEVEN top ten hits! The only record I can think of that can match that is... Thriller...0
