I think manslaughter, but anything less than murder 2 will still result in riots.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Serious question: When does the rioting end, and retaliation start?

At what point does someone get so fed up, that they start actively hunting the police (and their families)?

Last time the police station was burned to the ground.  Someone popped off a few shots towards the National Guard here the other day.

I fear it's only a matter of time before this war is brought to the doorstep of a police officer's home.

Isn’t that exactly what the Proud Boys, Oath Keepers and White supremacists and nationals want? Hasn’t that always been their endgame, to bring about a race war? You might be better served asking Fucker Carlson and Shit Hannity.

well it is in the hands of the jury now.

anybody think he will be found guilty?

for some reason i just do not see him being found guilty.

maybe i do not believe in justice anymore after seeing this movie too many times.

    we shall see,

    and now we wait....
If you go by police protocol and procedure he should be acquitted, which of course will cause WW3 there.

The last thing that needs to happen is have a cop killed in his home.  After the 2 cops were executed in their squad car here in NY the whole department was on edge.

I think we're already in a race war

With one side being state-sponsored, resulting in a form of asymmetric/irregular warfare

I feel it's only a matter of time before guerrilla tactics become widespread

There were several police supervisors and the chief who testified that Chauvin violated procedure and used excessive force so I think they made a good case against his actions.

Did you see the cops that said it was justified?

The chief also said that not everything he did wasn't protocol.

And a murder conviction there will be celebration in the form of riots, like when the Lakers win

I wouldn't be surprised or shocked that he's acquitted.  This our justice system which appears to protect some bad officers who do horrible things while on the force.

I do believe what will actually happen is a hung jury and if so the other officers that have been charged will be acquitted for sure. We may have some dark days ahead.

I hope you’re right. But I don’t agree. The opportunistic looters will show up no matter what the verdict is.
