33 1/3 series - New book about Vs

Anyone who is aware of the 33 1/3 series knows how good these short books can be.
In depth looks at single albums, sometimes written in an incredibly vibrant and exciting way (see John Darnielle's look at Sabbaths 'Master of Reality').

Awesome. I've read a couple duds, but these are excellent far more often than not.

Looks like it won't be on U.S. Amazon for release until March of 2021.  160 pages and $14.95.  Thanks for the post, OP.

Thanks for the tip on this. Based on the Amazon reviews, it seems like these books can be hit or miss. I've never read one myself, but I'm going to check out Master of Reality based on your recommendation.

Does anyone know of any others that are particularly good or that should be avoided?

I've read quite a few and they're usually enjoyable and educational, even for super fans!
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

The Sabbath one may give a false impression of what the rest of this series is like. I enjoyed it for that very reason as it's a story rather than an A - Z chronology of how an album came to be.

    Definitely worth a look though

Off the top of my head, In Utero and Afghan Whigs' Gentlemen were great. OK Computer was bad.

NMH In the Aeroplane is probably my favorite.  Ween's Chocolate & Cheese is also really good.

Interested in this, anyone have it? How much more about Vs is there than what's already been officially written/shared by the band in PJ20?
