so the rumours about Pearl Jam playing with Aerosmith can stop.

Pearl Jam is playing Southside festival that day.

    This is Hyde Park Calling it's when the Southside/Hurricane festivals are http://www.hydeparkcalling.co.uk/launch/ so that's another rumour that hasn't come about. Still Wireless, T in the Park and Oxygen to go :)

    Bummer.. why did I think it was the last week-end in June? Was Wireless around 24th june last year then? Have I completely lost it? This is what senility does to you!!!!!!

    All the rumors where saying the 30th June & 1st July, thats what I was hoping for, may have to change my plans now for watching Aerosmith in Germany.

    It could be a great day out... or it could be a hideous waste of time until Aerosmith hit the stage. I also fear that Aerosmith will do too many radio-friendly ballady tracks to please the MOR crowd.

    Yeah perhaps but who knows when they will next play over here, it's been a while.

    nah, oxegen is pretty much confirmed: radiohead, snow patrol, muse, etc.

    Sorry thats what I meant :o with Oxygen and T in the Park being sister festivals ... so if they're not playing one they're not playing the other. I meant I wasn't expecting any other PJ gigs other than those already confirmed.

    the main acts for T in the Park were announced in a Scottish newspaper at the weekend....they're officially announced on Thursday and PJ were not amongst them.

    Snow Patrol, The Killers and Scissor Sisters are headlining the main stage (Killers also headline Glasto) as its strongly rumoured to be a 3 day event this year.
