^^^^ had a few last night. I stand by my Harden comment.

As for Giannis...I love the guy...who wouldn't? that said, altho I don't love LeBron's sometimes manipulative ways, I think he is a fucking wonder to behold...possibly the greatest player in NBA history.
Its still Jordan or Kareem to me.  Too many moments that wouldn't have happened to MJ.  Like scoring 8 pts in a crucial Finals game.  Lebron is higher than Bird and Magic on my list and thats no easy feat with me.  He just doesnt have a clean career. Too many disappearing acts.  Its tough to compete with Mike.
In today's world Kareem is the most under appreciated player. Guy had the most un-guardable shot in history with the Sky Hook.  Incredible career and rarely see people mention him as one of the greatest these days.  Good to see you mention him.

He wouldn't be able to play in the league now.  You have to be a stretch 4 and not a center.  I think Gobert besides Adams are the last 2 pure centers in the league but both come out of the paint too.

That being said, he belongs in a greatest convo, absolutely.

Why has every big man eschewed the sky hook for the last 35 years? That never made sense to me.

Or why a coach never taught it?

I think it's difficult to master.  I can remember only Magic doing a "baby hook".
  • 2020/21 predictions.

    LBJ and AD repeat.

    Kyrie and KD self destruct.

GS Warriors will make a strong showing but won't make it to finals.

    Clippers?

Miami is the team to beat in the east.

Boston, Bucks and Philly make the rounds of a good regular season but get lost in the playoffs as usual.

Hard to see them doing much with Klay out for the season again.
    This weekend we rock Portland

So the type of season they will have will be applauded where as the big east coast teams that perform on the same level will not.

Yeah, I think you're right (LAL Repeat if all healthy). They SHOULD win  as their better this year.

Like to see a destruction in Brooklyn

West might be too tough for the GSW. Sucks no Klay Thompson.

Clippers with a ?(mark) is right.

    East might be a crap-shoot.

LeBron to win MVP(should've won it last year?) Joel Embiid will be Top 5 in MVP and if things go just right for him & the 76ers, he could  win MVP.

    James Wiseman for ROY

Will Harden be traded this Season?

East is a crap shoot except for Miami.  Young and hungry.

I hope I am wrong about philly as I would like to see Embid do good things and not have a load management placed on him.

Yes, they have the ESPN, ABC, TNT games etc but not the local games.  I really want to be able to watch a Mavs game against Vancouver if it isn't televised.
