I saw Joseph Arthur twice and Richard Thompson once.  I would have seen Soul Asylum and Drive By Truckers multiple times each but I had a long-planned vacation the week they were both in the northeast =(    Only had tix to two cancelled, er, postponed shows - PJ and Wilco.

Oh, also saw Rhett Miller & Salim Nourallah play a dinner venue close to me.

March 3-Lumineers, TO (was there for work and literally decided last minute to go by myself as I had to be up early the next day. Man was I glad I went about a week later)
    March 5- Glorious Sons, Vancouver
Cancelled (coachella, Tea Party, Rage, TOOL and a couple more. Could have been an epic year)
Here's hoping summer 2021 we are vaccinated and partying to rock shows!

    I only saw 2:

The Black Halos - Vancouver, BC at the Rickshaw back in February
The Dayglo Abortions - Nanaimo, BC in March at the Cambie.   Weird show.  I think we'd just gotten the first Covid19 case on the Island I live on, but we hadn't been locked down yet, but it made this weird nervous feeling at the show.  Not many people showed... odd stuff....

Tool - Portland. I think that may have been one of the last big concerts anywhere - I remember the NBA shut down that night and Trump closed the border I to European flights while I was sitting in a room with 1000s of people....   =)

Only saw five. And thankful to have seen that many.

    1. Brothers of a Feather -- Atlanta 2/23. Unfortunately Rich was sick so he didn't sing. Still, tho, super cool to see the brothers play acoustic in a small setting. Was on my bucket list ever since missing the original tour ten or so years ago.
    2. Billy Strings -- Huntsville 1/23. First time seeing Billy live. He's the real deal. Really looking forward to seeing him again one of these days.
    3. Tedeschi Trucks Band -- Nashville 2/28. For the past several years I've made an annual late winter pilgrimage up to Nashville to see TTB play The Mother Church and catch up w/ old friends. Will miss doing so in '21 come Feb/Mar.
    4. Jason Isbell (acoustic benefit for Doug Jones) -- Birmingham 3/3. Solid show in small historic theater. Only lasted an hour as it was a fundraiser. Still wish Doug Jones coulda pulled another upset.
    5. Marcus King Trio -- Birmingham 10/28. Social distanced, and not a very good show. Marcus is a terrific guitarist but this particular rocket never achieved liftoff. It's only holding the five spot b/c that's all I have.

    Birds of Tokyo last month
Unwritten Law in February just before Covid really impacted Australia.
We had tickets for Birds of Tokyo symphony orchestra show (postponed to next year) and The Offspring...who knows when any international artist will tour Australia. Was really hoping this would be the year PJ toured 😒

I saw JJ Grey & Mofro on 12/31/19, that's the closest I came to a concert this year.

I had tickets to see Pearl Jam, Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit, The Black Keys w/ Gary Clark Jr, and another JJ Grey & Mofro show, but all of those were cancelled or postponed.

Amazing how Embrace can play such a large venue in the UK.  Last time they played in Los Angeles, it was a co-headline with Starsailor, and they barely drew 300 punters!

The dude was a pretty bad hombre, but after Covid started there really weren't any concerts anywhere (aside from a few attempt at socially distanced ones)?  I don't think most people got to see a concert unless they saw one before the middle of March, regardless of what country they were in, or who there leader was?

Didn't he say something about "glad people weren't too scared to come out and watch live music"
then every concert in america was canceled a few days later.  Weird stuff.
